I've been thinking about difference between

Bingge and Binghe from my au because it would be fun to write

Like, in my Abyssal Snow Fox SQH au, Shang Qinghua is stronger than Tianlang-Jun who (if I remember correctly) was designed to be even stronger than Binghe from Pidw (Bingge)

So even if ASF! SQH would've met Bingge I don't think he would be afraid? I think he would Pat and spoil him being like "ah, my poor protagonist, there there, you are safe here" and just stuff him between the fluffy fox tails and force Bingge to take a nap lol

The entire fic is just Luo Binghe and Shang Qinghua’s adventures having to not only find their husbands but also dealing with each other’s bullshit and realizing that they’re more alike than they’d really like to think about.

I love Shang Qinghua and Luo Binghe’s relationship that is so deep but also barely exists. Because to Airplane Bro, Luo Binghe is kind of both his self-insert and his Frankenstein’s Monster. Airplane Bro is a misplaced bystander and an unwilling father of the world (the System is coming after him for child support and he didn’t even get sex out of it!) and a martial uncle who condoned abuse and an alien turned unknowing oracle who once gleefully laid out Luo Binghe’s entire fucked-up life. Maybe he could have changed something, but maybe he couldn’t! We don’t know! It kind of looks like he didn’t even try! Luo Binghe is him and his creation who could kill him with a snap of his fingers and also a complete stranger plunging Airplane Bro’s dreams into chaos with every step.

And to Luo Binghe, Shang Qinghua is the squirmy coward clinging to Mobei-Jun’s thighs and Shen Qingqiu’s weird friend and otherwise just some peak lord who got lucky??? Disciple Luo Binghe might not have been able to pick his Shishu out of a fucking lineup. Demon Emperor Luo Binghe puts up with the guy because of other people. Shang Qinghua by himself means next to nothing to him, if anything. They have no direct relation.
