Do veganists that are veganist because of animal welfare actually take medicins that are tested on animals?
It worked so well that it quietly starved the future — a chilling speculative horror tale of unintended consequences, and a special short fiction departure from the normal fare at Veni. Vidi. Scripsi. Read it now.

Our Bodies, Ourselves — Real Life
It’s easy to mock Elizabeth Holmes, her failed biotech company Theranos, and the wealthy investors taken in by it. Yet what the recent bevy of postmortems on the company all seem to miss is why Theranos was so successful to begin with.
Researchers produce images of people’s faces from their genomes
CRAIG VENTER, a biologist and boss of Human Longevity, a San Diego-based company that is building the world’s largest genomic database, is something of a rebel.

One Door Away From Heaven by Dean Koontz
This novel is the first in a series featuring Leilani Maddoc, Micky Bellsong and their very own Scooby Doo gang. It should have been called, Ode To A Dog, as ole Deano really demonstrates his excessive affection for our canine friends in this tail (see what I did there? Honestly, I should be in Hollywood with this shit).
Please don’t misunderstand Rebel…

A Queerspir word on Procreation (and the female part in it).
One simple piece of ethics, bio or other, you cis-women will simply NEVER UNDERSTAND.
(one of many reasons why I have left mainstream liberal cis-feminism behind).
Matters of procreation, hence of adopting, performing and executing an agency that is built into a very long chain of genetic transfer, are simply NOT your own private isolated matter. You do not OWN the genes you are a host of. You simply don't. You have not made them, not bought them, not created them.
They are NOT YOURS.
You have been born with them, as a thing that has been lent to you, like a high good that you must make good use of. The relationship of a single woman to the genes being embedded in her eggs is analogue to the relationship of a person inheriting a piece of land in a feudal system. Yes, it belongs to them, it is theirs and theirs only, bringing them honour, dignity, a secure basis in the world, if the law is being maintained well, for a life time, with no one having a say as to how they will use that land.
But of course them having that land for keeps implies an obligation that they shall make good use of it, as that land is valuable. Others may not have any land. It is an insult to them if they burn the acer down and perform mad hysterical dances on it chanting: my land is my own private property and I can do with it as I please!
(Yes, it is an insult to an infertile woman with a burning wish for a child if a young careless woman has sex with whomever because, you know, there is always … abortions. If you do not feel, sense, understand that, dear cis-female liberal egotistic amoral sister, we really have no common basis, I am so sorry to say that, but so it is.)
So. Now.
All of what I have stated above has zero, nada, nothing to do with evil men, be it individuals, groups or organisations, claiming brutal power over your precious female bodies.
It is a matter of universal ethics involving personhood, decisions, nature, values, higher powers and norms. And a clear understanding what it is to be part of a living chain or living beings.
If you refuse to have that, respect that, learn that, and still have random sex to boost your slut ego you are just like an amok shooter to my poor old queer brains and eyes.
