Wish me luck on my biochem test tomorrow!! I really love chemistry with my whole heart so I'm hoping to do well on this one!
my research project this year! i’ve been really inactive because i was working wayyy too much on this project and i had a lot going on in general, but i’m going to have a lot more free time now that research is over, so hopefully i can go back to posting more regularly.
in other news, my research findings were pretty cool, but i didn’t find what i set out to find, so my title is kind of deceiving (they don’t let us change the title once we submit the proposal, which sucks). there were six people in my category, and one of those people was the winner from last year who went to ISEF (he came in wearing his ISEF badge!), and while we usually get three judges, one of them didn’t show up, so we only got two! i think the judges liked my project though, and they were nice; i just don’t know how much they liked my project compared to the other projects in my category (biochemistry). sorry for rambling.
ttyl!
some old biodiversity notes (ignore the checkmarks lol)
Exciting News!
Hey guys! I just found out today I got a job on campus in the library! I interviewed on Tuesday and got the news this morning! I can’t believe this is all happening right now, I am for sure going to have a busy school year but it is going to be fantastic none the least.
And in other words my group projects in my political science classes are certainly going to be interesting because there are some very opinionated people that could cause issues with the projects.
04.09.18 reading an article about luca cavalli-sforza, an italian population geneticist who recently died at 96; he was a professor at my university, and also at cambridge and stanford, and his works in population genetics are hugely important
