well, perhaps surprisingly, no, not really. he so rarely gets worked up over anything, and it’s so hard to provoke him into any more animosity than like. offended annoyance, but it really is all genuine on his part– he really is simply that easygoing and. passive idek
in the way of anger and hostility, there just. literally isn’t anything to bottle up. what little temper he has is fleeting, tbh, and he’s usually content to quietly give people Reminders as opposed to anything more explosive and spectacular
of course. during times of upheaval and change in his life, he probably tends to withdraw more so. i imagine that the period of time after he ‘loses’ the previous god of destruction and starts serving the new one is generally something of a difficult time. while i think he’d be eager for some long-awaited change, i also think he’d greatly miss the easy rapport he would have had with his previous student– learning all about someone new and establishing an entirely new relationship from the foundations up is tiring work. and this would all be sentiments and thoughts he’d keep to himself, even long after that awkward ‘getting to know you’ phase had passed
in fact, i personally feel like even beerus probably doesn’t Know exactly how uncomfortable he might have felt in the beginning bc whis has never brought it up or admitted to it. he might have guessed it tho
so. i guess in the end you’d say that whis doesn’t share the majority of his thoughts and feelings with others, and, as many have probably already guessed by now lmao, there is definitely a wall between him and like. all the other characters in this universe lies down BUT he’s not exactly bottling everything up so much as he is. letting every little thing he feasibly can go
