recording on an emulator is way better than what I was doing with my phone. 

Oh my phone I’d record, then upload it to my computer and use an app called “Handbrake” to sync the audio.

The thing is, the app didn’t work a lot of the time (maybe around a third of it?) so I’d have to redo the recording, sometimes two to three times. Sometimes I’d break it up into segments so a five minute recording would become two minutes and three minutes, and sometimes even that wouldn’t work. Occasionally there would be a slight audio issue but it was minor enough that I decided it would have to work, otherwise I’d be re-recording the same thing all day. Also, I’d have to turn off all notifications, blah blah blah, yada yada yada. 

Anyways, the emulator recording not only has audio synced up right away, but the quality seems much better. I’ve noticed that the audio especially sounds crisp and decent. Additionally, it’s easier to keep track of files-- the file names on my phone would always be random numbers and letters, but the emulator recordings are organized by date so I’m not worried about things be out of order.

I’m kind of debating redoing a bunch of videos. God, I hate that we can’t just edit or re-upload existing ones. I feel like I’m constantly releasing spam. Also, it’d be a lot of work. But I mean, if this is going to be an archive, then shouldn’t the archive be, like, good?

I dunno, but this is my bitch session. It’s nice that I can ignore real world problems and instead hyperfocus on stuff that clearly really matters.

I’m so mad at past Claire for the subjects she chose to take at college. Like WTF bitch, Philosophy? Rly? Dumb hoe.

Ugh this is why making kids choose their future path sucks - how the hell was 16 year old Claire supposed to know that 29 year old Claire would get into creative writing!
