It seems appropriate to share some really stupendous remixes of SHAED’s hit smash Trampoline but one feature after we shared a remix of an Absofacto song, considering the fact that they’ll both be performing at the Independent in San Francisco on November 1st. Plus, Trampoline continues to climb charts and reach new levels of success after it first struck like hot iron after its widespread exposure in that MacBook Air commercial. The Washington, D.C. alt/electro-pop group certainly won my heart with the song from their sophomore EP Melt last year. LA production prodigy Jauz served up on of the most compelling such edits with his dark swiveling, dramatic tremoring bass remix, which he recently followed up with his This Is Off The Deep End compilation LP (stream, here). Also not to be missed is a shiver-inducing gem of an edit by BKAYE, a retro synthwave approach by Tromme, and a feathery gliding beauty by Manatee Commune, all of which can be streamed below. SHAED’s Melt EP is available, here.
