Idk if you've read it, but I just finished a book called The Starving Saints and I feel like you'd enjoy it. There's fucked up things pretending to be gods, cannibalism, and toxic lesbians (including a knight who is just. The pathetic chew toy of the narrative. I love her)

It's kinda filling the Alecto void and I think locked tomb fans will also be freaks about this book, and I desperately need more people to be as obsessed as I am

ok i have a recommendation as well, i just finished gretchen felker-martin's latest novel black flame:

if u are unfamiliar with her work, she has 3 published novels, all queer horror. im a big fan... she writes about things that will give u a stomach ache (positive). also devastatingly beautiful. i still think about this excerpt from cuckoo where a character realizes she's trans

black flame is about a HEAVILY repressed archivist named ellen who starts restoring an infamous exploitation film. working on it just cracks something open inside her, like forces her to confront her true desires. also she starts seeing crazy nightmare shit from the film in real life... there's lesbians and AWFUL people and killing and maiming and revenge. the ending is very satisfying :)
