“Unthinking Heaven of Evil” hmm?
We may not have gotten more Asmoday in this update, but we’ve gotten a lot of neat artistic stuff in this update and oh so much more lore.
People may hate it, but I am eating this up.
This is the kind of “Dante’s Inferno” shiz that I will eat like candy.
MC Escher, Bosch, so much alliteration that I’m content for the next year, not to mention this screams Qlippoth.
I’ve been saying this for the past few months that Genshin is extremely Gnostic. The Gnoses, the archons, there are so many hints to Qlippoth and the Tree of Life (domains and leylines and also Irminsul) but there are so many hints that the Archons are the bad guys that Irminsul may very well be the Tree of Death and things keeping Teyvat in the state that it’s in—in which case that would Dottore the good guy if he burns it down; but wait, no he wouldn’t because you can’t have life without death.
That’s what creates balance.
He’d throw everything into more of a catastrophe by doing that regardless of what side of the Tree we are on, because the Tree of Death is the root system for the Tree of Life and the Tree of Life is the root system for the Tree of Death.
Together they are whole, without each other they are not.
