So many early stick figures are dead, missing, their stories and characters left abandoned. Many of their animators have moved on, retired, or vanished off the internet. These animations inspired so many to create their own sticks and animations, and these animators were the pioneers for an entire community. The sticks they created serve as legendary figures and inspiration for the ones that come after. The days of RHG stick battles animated in Flash and posted on FluidAnims are gone, but they are not forgotten.

(Updated 12/1/2021) Inspired by @lucifer-is-a-bag-of-dicks drawing of a more owl-like Nocturne, here's my take on the same idea I'll probably add to my Unseelie AU with wings and robe-like feathers from the waist down though you can't really see it. He even has his own crest/constellation!
