I took braids down and now my hair insecurity is thur the fucking roof. Like I know i not bladhead or that my hair type isnt bad by any means but I just don't feel good in it rn.

Like I've washed it, gave it a low manipulation style but its just... horrible like I dont even feel feminine with it out. Like I PRAY it would visible hand longer like it's real length or if my curl pattern looked nicer. Idk man, I just dont know how to feel about it and I don't live somewhere with access to put it back into braids rn.

What i see TOO much of

Ignorant Niggas: “ see the problem with black women is...”

Black women:

Ignorant Niggas: *says something completely ignorant and wrong about black women* 

White America: Must be true since he’s a negro male

Black Women: 

Regular Black Men: “This nigga about to fuck it up for everybody”

I think the biggest rift between Black Men and Women (especially on social media) is that there are huge groups of ignorant niggas that for some reason have the loudest voices on here.

These niggas are completely one sided and  jaded with no interest  of correcting or educating themselves. They hang around other niggas that are just like them and feel like just because a lot of people agree with them ,then that means its a fact

ONE MILLION WRONG NIGGAS = ONE MILLION WRONG NIGGAS

Just because a lot of people have the same opinion and assumption doesn’t mean it’s a fact; its still an opinion and assumption.  

But another problem with Black Men is that some of us don’t want to check our homies or bros; so in doing so you only indirectly make everything worse.

and for some reason things that Black Women deal with only seem to be a fact to the rest of the world if Black Men co-sign. So it makes women expressing their problems even harder because now they need this weird validation in order for thing to move forward in a steady way

There’s alot that needs to be fixed and addressed in our own community on both sides, so we can start making solid changes. But first we need to start separating these niggas and calling them out on their bs so we can dead this stupid mentality.

Black baby boomers did this thing where they caught onto the wave of opportunities given during the civil rights movement and instead of making sure the next generation was good they sit on all the money they've made and tell us "I had tonwork hard to get where I am so now you do too" as if making sure the future generation was good was a bad thing and now they talk about how we are always on our phones and using technology so much not knowing that the very few of us that know this little fun fact is trying to do for us and our future generation that you failed to do.

I hate how my white ass manager never hires anybody black, and I honestly almost didn't get hired because he chose somebody white, but that person decided that they didn't want the job. Like I am so tired of being basically the only black person in my position. Normalize hiring people for quality and not color!! The white girls be comin in lookin sloppy af!!!
