Blacksugar Forced Marriage AU

Two kingdoms were at war with each other for a long time. War between the Fae and that of a mortal kingdom. No one is sure how the war started but eventually, something changed. King Ad Lib, the current king of the mortal kingdom, went to make a deal with the king of the Faeries, Elder Faerie. To try and make peace with each other as this war has practically drained both their resources and their people. The solution? A marriage between two people of the kingdom, Elder Faerie’s daughter and someone from Ad lib’s kingdom. Ad lib wasn’t suggesting himself of course (much to Elder Faerie’s relief). Adlib was a married man after all. He instead suggested his right hand man (and secret son) Black Sapphire instead. He was charming and didn’t seem like he was a bad man (as far as one can be in Ad lib’s kingdom). Elder Faerie was conflicted but Sugarfly eventually agreed to the deal for the sake of her people. Of course, who knows if this marriage will go smoothly and who might benefit from having this war continuing.
