the kids!! being that enya’s parenting is… nonexistent at best, abusive at worst. (technically, it’s not really specific to her kids, not to give her the benefit of a doubt, she just treats all kids the same - there’s just a difference between shoving your kid over or shoving someone else’s kid over).
she “has” to see them, splitting custody with ale, but thankfully, sarah does the parenting when they visit. enya only really names her first lizard (at the wonderful suggestion of an internet friend). sarah changes it to noah, and after mentioning she’ll probably name the next one mayo, sarah doesn’t let her do that anymore.
this is gonna be long, but! from oldest to youngest:
#1:
noah! oldest and best boy who takes after enya way too much for his own good. being her first, everyone learns (the hard way) that enya should not be allowed around her kids. once he starts getting into speaking territory, it starts with her just being mean. but they quickly escalate into arguments that evolve into full on physical fighting - enya is at least stronger than a 12-year old and sarah not happy when he finds out.
he grows up very angry, but all he wants to do is help people, specifically in a medical sense. unfortunately, despite the day being generally accepted when he is older, the only organization willing to take him in and train him is the military - army, specifically. it kind of ends up working in his favor, because he really hones his abilities, and it pisses enya off. win-win! even if guns are still kinda scary and he’s stuck in advanced training for a long while and gets picked on by his ever changing classmates. :(
just like mom, his two abilities are earth and water, reversed in his case - water is his primary strength. the one thing enya did grant him (a gift, as she thinks it) was teaching him how to use water manipulation in rapid regeneration for people aka speed healing.
his color is more tinted than preferred, and he doesn’t have the best marking placement. but his tear streaks are very apt.
#2:
ada! who dies whens she’s around 8-900/19-20. she follows after her older brother into the military - though takes the air force/space force route instead of army. this ends up being her undoing, when she dies in a training accident. enya’s absolute nonchalance to the news adds another drop in the hate bucket for noah. out of all kids, physically takes after enya the most, in addition to her albinism. personality wise? just like dad, cheerful and endlessly optimistic.
also takes after enya in abilities - earth as her strength, water her secondary. big difference is she doesn’t use them quite as heavily as her mother. does learn how to use the healing bit as well, but from her awesome older brother. enya does not like her even more than noah, but her personality is more subdued and they don’t spark each other into fury.
she stands at 6'5" - another fun enya similarity, being below average height.
#3:
marie! middle child extraordinaire and the tallest. she ends up a little more adjusted than her older brother - but only just. post-incident, marie, who somehow has the ability to wrangle her nightmare of a mother, unfortunately ends up being enya’s caretaker; she becomes too volatile for a human handler, and marie can negate a lot of potential damage.
has water manipulation, and fire as her secondary. fire comes in handy for getting everyone else under control. she’s limited to small shows as excessive use will leave scars. she’s never cut her hair, but it’s been singed many a times. its a useful, if noxious, fuel source.
yin to ada’s yang - negative and pessimistic. wouldn’t be too terrible, if she wasn’t the only one dealing with mom. as such, she is miserable and has a tendency to make everyone else around her feel just as shitty. she rarely gets a real break and her frustrations build to an explosive point. the only real respite to her suffering is when enya returns to the Island, or the occasional explosive retaliation marie lets out on enya. The latter ends up knocking enya down for a few days, and gets out all the pent up anger in one convenient moment. but it’s not really healthy.
of the four, she’s the most closest to the ideal day; dark color, proper star spattering, and her fire manipulation is incredibly rare. her only unfavorable attributes is the human socialization, and she’s blind in her right eye, presenting as constant esotropia. she also tends to be thinner than she should.
#4:
cal, youngest and most “normal”, by day standards (besides the albinism). he, unlike the rest, doesn’t have any human socialization - by this time, ale simply raises him on his own. cal is enya’s favorite, but that’s only because he can’t talk back.
there isn’t anything too special, but he does his best to actually maintain tradition. has earth and air as his abilities. the latter being another uncommon element.
despite his attitude being proper for a day, he is both albino and born mute. but even with his disadvantages, he’s the most mellow and well-adjusted. funny enough, raising them partly human causes a lot of emotional and personality problems.
“Aren’t you a sight for sore eyes.” A smile forms on pale lips— pleasant, polite, as if he hadn’t just wiped his mouth clean of blood with a monogrammed, cotton handkerchief. Lenny knew the man and monster both, their was no need for pretence; he could be charming and macabre together. Nimble fingers fold the handkerchief back up, slipping it neatly into his breast pocket. “I hope you’re not looking for a meal here. You can certainly do better than my leftovers.”
[he takes himself very seriously and that’s always a lot of fun to write, especially since I do not take him seriously. So you get this kind of vibe going where he has super serious threatening dialogue but then in the actions he’s doing something super dorky because that’s how he is]
⌨ What’s a situation you’ve always wanted to RP with the muse?
[I would honestly just like more content of smoothie being vulnerable. either sick/injured, or just in a position where he has no choice but to rely on someone else. he’s very,,, self sufficient? i want to crack him open like a geode]
lazlo loves gotham , that much is obvious to anyone that’s listened to his ramblings for a millisecond . he might not have been born there , but it’s his home . lazlo is also someone who’s very fixated on potential , in terms of the pygmalion theme , gotham takes the role of galatea .
he hopes to make the city perfect , breath life into it in a sense , so obviously his main targets are dirty cops and the greedy rich ( though he’s gotten innocent people hurt or killed a long the way yet fails to see how that’s wrong . )
honestly while these are his motivations and goals it’s more of a GLAMORIZED DREAM than anything . look at gotham , there’s no way he of all people especially can achieve that . he’s idealistic and that’s one of his biggest downfalls .
Shuck is narcissistic; he’s not particularly delusional about his looks, or that he’s quite rough around the edges, but he feels like he offers so much more to people than anyone else can - with just his existence and the rules he likes to impose on people. Despite lacking formal education he’s convinced he’s smarter than any man in existence, despite being irritable and sadistic he’s convinced he’s the life of the party (and the warm shoulder to lean on) at all times, despite being just a fucked up cursed guy he’s convinced he’s been given the power to consider himself a god. So… all in all, Shucks view on himself is very distorted.
