Hey! This is my first short story, and I hope everyone likes it. No one requested it, but I decided to go ahead and write one anyways.
- Prompt: Bucky wears fuzzy socks and walks all over the carpet until he has enough static to shock Steve when he touches him. Sometimes if he’s really trying to annoy Steve, he’ll use his metal arm.

Here you go!
The fuzzy, polka dotted socks that were in Steve’s drawer were calling to him. And he had decided to wear them around the apartment for the day, just to see what Steve would say when he saw them.
Bucky slipped the socks on one by one, his smile growing at the sensation he felt when he wiggles his toes. He stood up, looked in the mirror, and stifled and small chuckle.
Bucky always poked fun at Steve for his weird choice in attire, but this, this was a whole new level. The blue and white socks made this day all the more enjoyable.
He waltzed out of Steve’s bedroom, turning his head to look for the blonde soldier. When he found him, he continued his path to the living room where Steve was watching some boring movie on the television.
As Bucky rounded the couch, he set his non-metal hand on Steve’s shoulder.
“Ow! What the hell, Buck?” Steve turned his attention from the screen and to Bucky, whose smile widened at the realization of what had just happened.
“Sorry! I just wanted you to see the socks I found.” Bucky chuckled and lifted his left foot up to where Steve could see.
“Those are my socks, Buck. Why do you have them on?”
“They looked funny, and they were soft and fuzzy.”
“...and?”
“And nothing, I just wanted you to see how funny they look.” Bucky was lying, of course. His motive had changed from poking fun at Steve for the ridiculous socks to now shocking Steve whenever possible.
“Put them back, they’re mine.” Steve had an annoyed look on his face when he turned away to focus on the movie. He wasn’t in the mood for Bucky’s antics at the moment. He just wanted peace and quiet.
That wouldn’t last for long...
*3 hours later*
Steve’s had been sitting on the same couch for the past three hours and Bucky was tired of it.
Bucky still had the fuzzy socks on, wiggling his toes and smiling at the sensation he felt. An idea popped in his head, and he started giggling silently.
He started to rub his sock-covered feet on the carpet back and forth. This process went on for another minute or two until Bucky felt satisfied with himself and how he thought the result would be.
He silently made his way behind the couch and lifted his metal arm, pointer finger just inches away from Steve’s shoulder, inching closer and closer until...
So, as my bio states, I will be taking requests to write short stories based on the Bland Marvel Headcanons or any headcanon you find that you would like to submit.
While I am not new to writing, I am new to:
1. Tumblr
2. Writing for specific requests
I will try my hardest to make everything satisfactory to your liking and make sure you enjoy what I’ve written for YOU.
Also, none of the head canons you submit will be my idea or creation. Credit will go to whoever created that headcanon, but not to my actual writing.
I hope you guys submit a ton of requests and enjoy whatever I post!
Based off a Bland Marvel Headcanon. The boys of Stark Tower have an ongoing guessing game of how many weapons Natasha has on her. The only winner? Clint. Slight Clintasha

“Four!” Tony shouted. Natasha sent him an icy glare.
“No,” her answer was short and to the point. Tony huffed and stabbed the eggs with his fork, shoveling the food into his mouth. Steve drew his eyebrows together, chewing slowly.
“Nine?” His voice asked, Natasha shook her head.
“Nope,” Steve frowned, continued eating, still contemplating. They all looked towards Bruce who always guss next.
“Eleven,” she smiled slightly.
“No,” her voice softer than it was with Tony. Thor was not in this world at the moment, and Clint was calmly reading the newspaper, a humongous cup of coffee sitting next to him. Everyone looked towards him, he didn’t notice until Natasha jabbed him in the ribs with her elbow.
“Ow! What?” He asked irritated. They all gave him a pointed look. He raised his eyebrows, “What? Do I have something on my face?” Tony was impatient.
“What do we have to spell it out for you? How many weapons does Natasha have on her?” He shouted.
“Oh, you could have just said so,” he opened his newspaper to read even as he responded, “she has two knives, a gun, and another knife under her chair.” Everyone turned toward Natasha who gave a small smile.
“Yup.”

“Six?” Tony asked in the middle of a movie.
“No Stark, shut the heck up,” Natasha curtly replied.
“Five?” Tony was annswer with a pillow in the face, “I’m guessing no.” Later in the day Rogers popped into the living room while Natasha was reading.
“Two?” He asked, she shook her head.
“Not even close Rogers,” she replied. Steve left the room with a huff. A couple minutes later Bruce dropped in.
“Three?” She looked up.
“No,” Bruce sighed and left. At dinner Tony yelled,
“Bird Brain! How many?” Clint looked at him calmly.
“Nine,” He said, before stuffing his face with another bread roll, Tony huffed.
“Super secret ninja besties,” he muttered.

“So you even plan on telling them?” Clint asked, sitting on Natasha’s bed. She shrugged.
“Probably not, it’s entertaining watching them struggle,” he chuckled.
“Evil Russian,” she smiled laughing.
“What? No one has to know that we’re screwing with them, come on. You think it’s funny too, she said; he laughed.
“Well I can’t deny that, you’re unarmed most of the time … it doesn’t make you nervous?” He asked, she shook her head.
“Not really, and I have weapons stashed everywhere around the Tower anyways,” she put her arms around his waist.
“Those aren’t stashes, those are small armeries,” she laughed slightly before kissing him.
Although he’s always liked going fast, before he got his powers through Tommy Shepherd wasn’t actually a very good runner. As a young child he came last in all of his school races.
Teddy purrs if you rub his wings. He doesn’t even know he’s doing it. Billy thinks it’s adorable.
Billy’s secret hobby is writing Wiccan/Hulkling fanfic. Teddy must never know. (Teddy knows and reads them all. He comments on every single one. He’s Billy’s biggest fan.)
Teddy is TERRIFIED of caterpillars.
After a Young Avengers bonding session Tommy drunkenly confesses that he used to wish for a younger brother and Billy hugs him and tells him that he’s glad he finally got the older brother he’d always wanted. When Wanda finds out she smiles to herself and vows to never tell them that Billy was born first.*
*I actually personally believe that Tommy is the oldest, but it just seemed like a cute idea to round off this submission.
Naughty:Tell us three things that your parents disapprove of?
-Not communicating. They get really mad if I make plans and don’t communicate with them at all to know what’s going on/what I’m doing.
-My mum probably wouldn’t approve of tumblr, she disapproves of me talking to random people on the internet. (I could care less what she thinks about tumblr because I’m 22 years old I can make my own decisions about things now. My dad loves it though I send him links all the time.)
-Horror movies! Both my parents disapprove/hate horror movies. I’ve always loved them though. (Except gory shit like Hostel and Saw)

PTSD tw, Panic Attack tw
Steve had always enjoyed fireworks and he was sure he always would. The sight of them flying into the sky, the anticipation of the final explosion, the awe he felt as the colors rained through the sky. He also had to admit that having been born on the Fourth of July, he couldn’t help but feel that maybe just one of those fireworks was meant for him. Steve still loved fireworks, but after the war, he found them hard to enjoy anymore.
With Bucky back, all Steve wanted to do was celebrate. So when he found out the date of the first fireworks show in New York, he had insisted to Bucky that they had to go. Bucky had been wary but really, what could go wrong? Before the war, he and Bucky had watched the fireworks every year. With Bucky back, that was not a tradition he was not willing to give up on.
Bucky had insisted that at least Natasha go, if not the whole Avengers team; so naturally the whole team went along. In hindsight, Bucky had made the right call. The second the first firework exploded, a tightness set into his chest. As more and more fireworks were set off things just seemed to… spiral. Soon he could barely breathe, feeling as though he was choking. The fear set in as he heard grenades being set off all around him and felt his asthma returning. His skin heated up, sweat rolling down his face and his chest. Oh god did his chest hurt. He could barely hear Tony calling out to him. He could barely register being herded away from the show. Didn’t even realize that Bucky was being forcibly dragged away by Natasha after having attacked Thor in an attempt to protect himself.
It wasn’t until they were in the car back to the tower that Steve was able to calm down long enough to recount what had happened to Bruce and for Bruce to explain to him what had happened. A panic attack, probably triggered by the explosive sound made by the fireworks. He started asking Steve questions, asking if he ever had nightmares. Flashbacks back to the war. Things that ended up leaving him feeling incredibly anxious and unsettled.
The answer was simple: yes.
It was established then that fireworks were no longer a good idea - not with Steve’s PTSD and especially not with Bucky’s. The later had spent days after the incident on edge - not saying a word and looking as though he would destroy anything that dared to move.
Steve couldn’t help the disappointment that settled in as Tony instructed Jarvis every night to block out the sounds of any nearby fireworks from the tower. He could still watch the fireworks through the large window walls, but somehow it wasn’t the same as being up close and personal. It wasn’t the same as having to crane his neck to watch the sparks burst above him.
He sighed as he sat near the windows, sketch pad in hand and Bucky heavily leaning against him as he napped. Steve couldn’t help looking longingly out at the fireworks. His birthday was nearing and he was losing yet another thing from his past…
**************************************
Tony spent much of his time ‘tinkering’ in his workshop, so when he disappeared for a few days after the fireworks incident, nobody really worried. Bruce went down on occasion to make sure he ate and bathed and slept, but other than that he was left alone to do his thing.
The entire population living in the tower, minus Tony, was currently sitting in the entertainment room, watching Ender’s Game. Movie night was by far the most popular bonding exercises and even Bucky had started joining them once he began to feel more like himself.
It was in the middle of the movie when Tony came running into the room from his workshop, a small metal box in his hands. He set said box on the table and grinned. “Jarvis, pause the movie. Everybody’s gotta see this. I got it perfect this time.”
Steve rose a brow at the inventor and sat up straighter in his seat, earning a grunt of disapproval from Bucky who was dislodged from his comfortable napping position. Steve opened his mouth to question Tony, but Bucky beat him to it.
“What the hell is it? It looks like a metal box. A two year old could make a box.” The bite in his voice was obvious. He was never the kindest when he was woken up.
Tony scoffed and rolled his eyes. “It’s a piece of advanced technology designed by myself specifically for you and the Cap so if you would kindly allow me to demonstrate.” Tony huffed, his metaphorical feathers fluffing up all over the place.
Steve sighed and rolled his eyes, smiling warmly. “Go ahead Tony. Demonstrate.”
Tony grinned and pressed a button on the top of the box before stepping back. “Jarvis let’s go with set one first, yeah?”
“As you wish sir.”
No sooner than the AI had agreed, a small light shot straight up out of the middle of the box. Steve could feel Bucky tense, but he knew what that light was and his eyes followed it towards the ceiling in anticipation. When the light seemed to silently explode into a billion smaller lights that rained down on the entire group.
The virtual fireworks kept going, putting on a small show. Steve craned his neck back to watch the incredible sight. Bucky couldn’t help but laugh next to him, a smile on his own face. While the fireworks were perfectly silent, the explosions looked just as really as if they were sitting out in the park and watching them.
Tony grinned at the awed faces on the two old men, a look of accomplishment clear on his face. “They’re just for you Cap. You seemed pretty disappointed after the incident and I couldn’t let you miss out on fireworks for your birthday so- hey, why are you crying?”
Steve looked at Tony, confused, then quickly rubbed his eyes. He hadn’t realized he had even started crying. But these fireworks for were for him.
“Thank you,” he whispered.
