Autumn is officially here, and to celebrate, we invite everyone to come on down to NYC’s Pumpkin Festival! With a pumpkin patch, carving contest, hay maze, and more, it’s a sure fire way to get you into the sweater weather spirit. Entry is only five bucks, so gather your friends and family up and bring them down for a day of pumpkin spice flavored fun!

BLBC’s Pumpkin Fest is a dash event that will span from Friday, September 28th, to Monday, October 1st. As always, participation for this event will not be mandatory, but we’re very excited for it and hope you are too! Our IM’s and inbox are open for any questions you may have!

Robbie was carving her fourth pumpkin. She had always been really good at this and she was having a lot of fun helping out some of the people around her. She giggled a little as she scooped out the insides and places them into a metal bowl in front of her. “Here if you are so grossed out by this then you can carve this one once I finish cleaning it out. You know, because I’m just that nice.”

“I just won this giant Pikachu plushie for my kid playing ring toss,” said Melissa. Wasn’t easy, but I think Sabrina will be so happy with the toy I won for her.”

“I’m so glad to be done with helping out at the kissing booth.” As the words passed her lips, the sound of a quiet ‘ew’ could be heard from her daughter who stood by her side. “Remind me that I should stick to handing out food next year.--Do you know where the pony rides are? This little one has been excited for it since she got her.” Scarlett slipped her hand into her daughter’s hand, preparing to go any direction that the other told them to go.

He didn’t know how long he’d been wandering around in the maze; maybe he was still a little shaken up from the haunted mansion even though he’d convinced himself it wasn’t scary. Or maybe it was just the fact that one moment he was surrounded by too many people and his mind had gone haywire with anxiety and now he’d found himself lost in the middle of the hay maze -- the pumpkin decorations suddenly looking like they were judging or mocking him. Hoseok tried to keep his breathing steady, but his hands were shaking, heart pounding against his rib cage. Despite his dizziness he was aware of the fact that he was having a panic attack, now struggling to breathe as he pressed himself against one of the high walls with his arms wrapped around his shaking body, his eyes locked onto the ground in an attempt to hide his tears.

“Alright,” Romeo clapped his hands together. “I say we leave the ferris wheel for last and we jump straight into face paints and pumpkin carving,” he proposed. “Unless you had something you wanted to do first? I’m literally down for whatever. I don’t even know everything they have here.” He grinned.
