The soft drops of the rain start to pelt down on your skin. You let out a tiny breath and glance back at Byakuya. His dark bangs starting to stick to his forehead from the rain.
"Great," he sighs out, shaking his head as he reaches up his hand and pushes his bangs back. You let out a tiny giggle and walk over to him.
"A little rain never killed anyone," you suggest with a hopeful tone and Byakuya cocks an eyebrow.
"Not yet," he mumbles underneath his breath. You can hear his voice grumbling and wrap your arms around his shoulders, lacing your fingers together.
"Come on. Dance with me," you plead with him, batting your eyelashes. Byakuya pouts and his expression doesn't change as he places his hands on your hips.
The silence is comforting as the two of you shift your weight back and forth, holding each other. Eyes gazing at each other as the rain thuds on the ground.
The rain soaks Byakuya's hair, making it stick to his pale face. You smile at the sight of how handsome he looks right now. Byakuya's eyes trail over your face, wet from the rain.
His hand travels up from your waist and cups your cheek, thumb brushing against your skin. You lean into his touch and close your eyes with a moment.
"You look absolutely beautiful tonight, darling," Byakuya's voice is tender and you smile warmly, eyes fluttering open.
"Thank you. You look very handsome, even soaking wet in the rain," you giggle out and his lips curl up into a tiny smile.
For the rest of the night, the two of you bask in the rain and slow dance with each other. Soft touches and light, tender grasps on each other, warmth radiating to each other.

Nobutnobutnobut Yachiru's power being to cut anything in the sense that her sword will never miss and Kenpatchi's power to be to cut anything in the sense there is no material he cannot cut through and Yachiru being able to duplicate and personify her sword where Kenpatchi can not hear his and Yachiru appearing from nowhere at the end of a killing spree of Kenpatchi's in the middle of the woods where someone of her demeanor really has no business being and Yachiru disappearing with no explanation when he cuts something big big big in tybw. Yachiru always wanting Kenpatchi to have a good and fun fight. Yachiru always watching Kenpatchi intently when he fights. Yachiru being carried on Kenpatchi's back. The signs, symbol and mataphor!

My estimate is 14 to 21 years...
Reasons
Momo and Rukia enrolled at the same time. Momo got into advanced and Rukia into normal classes.(Rukia and Renji enrolled together but Renji and Momo were in the same class.
In chapter -16(bonus Toshiro backstory chapter) we find out Rangiku found Toshiro when Momo started or was about to start her 5th year.
Supposedly Toshiro managed to get into school that year. He would start his first, while Momo, Renji, Rukia and Kira start their 5th.(the Academy usually takes 6 years to finish). Toshiro graduated after 1, year, so he became a Shinigami 1 year earlier than the rest. Well almost.
After Rukia's adoption she was immediately taken out of school and put in 13th Division. We don't know when that happened, so this is the first variable.
Let's say it was in her 6th year, a few months after Toshiro's graduation.
In SS Arc we found out that it has been 40 years since her adoption. Ergo, it would be 40 years since Toshiro became a Shinigami. Ichigo was 15 in the arc add 3 or 4 years for his conception, this is the second variable. So 19. And 40-19= 21.
If Rukia got adopted in her first year and Toshiro only enrolled in Momo's 6th year. That would mean that by SS, Toshiro would have been a Shinigami for 35 years. Ichigo is 15 add 6 years for conception 21. And 35 - 21=14
Have no clue if this is correct or if the math checks out. So help.
