If you can run three miles, you can train for 13.1. Really!
So I’m averaging 4km (2.6ish miles) on my runs. I’m not running without stopping, but I’m run/walking like 90/10, and I’m reasonably confident that I can get up to 4.8km (3 miles) without much difficulty.
Once I’m doing that, I can, according to this article, increase my distance and endurance to a point that I can run a half marathon in October ... just in time for some cool races that are coming up.
So now I have a new goal!
