I redesigned Astravore!simon’s tail and made his fins smaller cause when i looked at him fr i was like.. that’s not simon 😭 (t’was lowk looking more like some furry than the butcher of eden so)

i made it smaller like a little rat tail (since i feel like that’d make more sense biologically to have an extension of his tailbone instead of a crocodile tail since he wasn’t mutated in the blood long enough to fully get fishy or tree-y)

do you like that his tail fan is a maple leaf 🍁👀

Hi here are my blood simon concepts with a kind joyous explanation attached

MAJOR TW FOR BODY HORROR AND GORE!

an idea i have for how he’d break apart and move around would look like this scene from murder drones

also heres a concept for what i’d imagine him to look like when he tries to force his body back to normal without calming down first‼️ it just #makesitworse and he panics more

basically his bloodied look is like the monster from carrion if it was also littered with flowers and vines as well👀 mostly carnivorous flowers (cause yk, the plants in iron lung eat people)

he gets so incredibly nauseous when he comes back to himself and when he’s broken down like this it’s usually really painful (cause he aint got no skin) so when he comes to he almost immediately drops down to the floor and starts crying curled in on himself while laying in a puddle of his own blood🩷

he’s a 100% carnivore. (thank god for those me-burgers dude he was about to start eating himself)

really really good at smelling blood (like a shark but ramped up)

coughs up flowers/flower petals with little bits of blood sometimes, he also finds random leaves and flowers in his hair (does a bad job at maintaining it so they usually js stay there until somepony preens it for him)

his song is 100% eat babies? by tender surrender i’ve decided.

usually suuper fucking terrified when he’s all gloopy like that and almost always goes to hide somewhere unless he physically cannot

his “breakdowns” (heh) usually only happen when he’s extremely stressed out or scared or angry

his “roars” are usually just pained wailed and distorted layered voices crying out for help or people’s names like avas or graces or smth👀

hi I saw your blood!simon post and think it’s really cool! How do you think grace would react if he saw it happen?

highkey, if grace opened a door and saw a blood clot with flowers, tentacles, torn sinew, and teeth sticking out of it sobbing out his name with like 50 voices layered over its own, he's slamming the door shut and crying in the hallway😭

at least until he's able to come to the conclusion that that blood clot is simon, and then waiting outside of the door until simon looks mostly human enough for grace to not shit himself on the spot and comfort him from there (still at least 6 feet away) 😭

ok i’ve made up my mind ddaatw simon’s going to be a blood!simon i rewatched ms marvel and saw goose again. yeah simon’s gonna be a blood guy (not like terminal lucidity tho, this still IS simon)
