As soon as I read @ovegakart's reaction to people thinking Volga and Dark!Link's relationship, I immediately wanted to doodle it in my practice sessions.

So I read them again. And...Never for a single second did I not see the relational subtext; however, only now do I wonder what it says for myself that familial subtext didn't cross my mind.

For context, I scoffed as soon as Volga told Dark he couldn't have his scales for armor. My shipping heart knew it'd happen one day.

So here's my take on Volga eventually giving Dark a closer look, and liking the look on his face so much he gets a silly thrill in knowing that he's gonna blow this brat's mind one day.

(This is me putting a coin in the swear jar - Or a ship in my sin bucket, I guess. )

MAN it’s been quite the con prep season!!! I tried to do a bunch of new prints aaaaand my Cintiq broke right after the Loki one. It’s an issue with the internal power receiver, so I’ll have to mail it in to be repaired. SO I’ve been working on a few more sketchy/painterly pieces that I’m excited to share, as well as some jewelry! See y’all at SoonerCon! 💕💕
