in the comics we’re shown that Blue isn’t a droid because she can cry & she has blood. It says that Red knew this— but Blue doesn’t know, because Red was keeping it a secret.
Every SCARECROW in the Lobby calls Blue a pornodroid, and when talking about escaping the city, Red says “when the electricity stops coursing through our bodies, we will leave this world for a better one” (emphasis placed by me)
Blue reinforces this by repeating “when we cross the city line, the power stops, and we die”
Red says she’s been keeping a secret from Blue for a long time but doesn’t get the chance to say anything.
Then when only Red dies, we find out Blue is human. Which she did not know.
How do you live around robots and not know you’re a human? It does mention that Red is an outdated model, so are the new droids just completely indistinguishable from humans, to a point where yourself, and everyone who has sex with you, and the government facility who produces androids, can’t tell at all wether you’re a robot or not?
That’s honestly really scary.
