Ok, but The Sickness In You & I could be such a perfect live staple
Picture this - the band is getting to the breakdown and Matt gets the chance to completely lose himself in the sauce like he always does and completely lie his arse down on the floor in the process. Then the synth outro plays - he gets a few seconds to catch his breath and another few to get back up at his own pace and return to the mic stand for Unravelling. Man, wouldn't that be something to witness...
You know what? The fact that y'all were right about Dan and Phil makes me wonder about WHOM ELSE y'all were right about. Which is lowkey scaring me, what if more RPF ships become canon, none of us would survive it at all--
Do you have any Poseidon, Amphitrite, or Amphiseidon headcanons you wouldn't mind talking about to the class 👉👈
Yes! Yes!! Hi! Yep! I do:)
Ok ok I have absolutely no idea how to structure this, so uhh… sorry.
Not a lot of people can understand Poseidon's anger enough to calm him down. Amphitrite is one of the few that does. Maybe because she's gotten to know him so well that she understands him on a level that Poseidon doesn't even understand himself in, or maybe because she's also the personification of the sea and understands the turmoil of emotions that the sea brings, and in extension the turmoil in Poseidon.
It's probably a mix of both.
The way I view Poseidon's anger is not just that one emotion. He feels so much; joy, sadness, excitement, love, rage, disgust, pride. And people have a way of seeing only the bad things. They see the destructive rage. They see a prideful arrogant god. They don't see the god who loves so much. The god who gives and brings life.
But Amphitrite does. She sees it all, all the emotions, both 'good' and 'bad'. So she helps in any way she can; when he's so excited he can barely stay still, when he's so sad he can't get out of bed, when he's so lovestruck he can't stay away, when he's so angry he can barely think straight.
She is there for him. Always. Just like he is there for her. In her quiet anger. In her soft joy. In her hollow sadness.
(Poseidon may be the destructive waves that will crush the largest ships, but Amphitrite is the riptide that will grab you by the feet and bring you under.)
And when all is said and done, when the seas have finally calmed down to soft rolling waves, you can find Poseidon and Amphitrite in each others arms, either half asleep or sharing soft kisses, and murmuring little 'I love you's. Because they'll always be there for each other<3
(Note: this was written half-asleep. I read the chapter after waking up)
HOLY FUCKING SHIT
The Azazels really like humans, goddamn.
My brain immediately went to theory mode. Comparing this human's looks to Henri's wife, Merize.
No.1 difference is their hair colour.
The hair style is close enough. With Merize having longer hair than the human's.
The facial features is also close enough, being more rounded and soft.
So why the hell am I saying these?
My first thought was the human was either sent back or killed off after Henri's higher up found them out. But, seeing how devoted Henri looks to this human, I doubt that he's the kind of man to move on and get together with another demoness that looks like the human.
So yeah. The second theory of mine is that Merize IS this human. How they got together and had Ameri without the border control or any other higher ranking demons finding them out? I have no idea other than Henri somehow smuggled her out of the containment, or he lied about sending her back or killing her.
Just at the end of the day, Henri got together with Merize/the human by disguising her as a demon.
And from the photos and scenes I've seen Merize in, she always has a hat with small horn poking, not through the hat, just poking it.
Either that hat is being used as a way to give her the illusion of having horns or that Henri used a spell to alter Merize's entire being to look like a demoness.
I mean, he went so far trying to communicate with her. What stopping him from changing her entire being?
Also, Iruma was able to successfully make himself look like a demon by just using cherusil.
I have a feeling that the reason why Henri is so nostalgic or being reminded of his relationship with his wife through seeing Ameri's relationship with Irima is because he knows or a huge feeling that Iruma is indeed a human.
Or...Henri did get forced to return the human back to her world seeing that one of things he told Iruma is how he returned many humans back to their original world.
Or they already had Ameri but after some time Merize was sent back...or killed off. I don't know why my keeps going to her being killed off. Probably, because of how Henri's boss/supervisor acted.
Need to stop giving a fuck about my art page but in a way that's like.. total freedom if that makes sense? Scared to post certain things blah blah blah. I keep getting in the mindset that I want this page to be super professional and clean but also that's really limiting and totally unrealistic and it makes me not want to post here and avoid it because things aren't up to my own "professional standard" I keep forgetting the main purpose of this Tumblr account is just to have an archive of all my art in one place and it doesn't have to look pretty because that's not the point of this. This is supposed to be a portfolio but like... That still sounds too professional. This account is my ripped up paper folder from third grade that I shove all my art in just to keep it in one place and the stickers are coming off a little bit.
I don't have to impress anyone
Focusing on how many notes you get is dumb and I should not do that cause it doesn't really matter
So I just finished the theater route of his Hangout. I was a little surprised it didn't branch off but can we talk for a second about how subtly POINTED this storyline is???
There is war coming. We all know it. Khanri'ah is not as dead and gone as most would think and Kaeya knows that too. He's a living embodiment of Khanri'ah's roots stretching through the centuries. Our sibling claims to be working on behalf of Khanri'ah.
But when Kaeya decided in the last Dainsleif quest that his lineage wasn't important, he drew a line. He was possibly put in Mondstadt to benefit Khanri'ah, but Mondstadt is his home. Given the choice he would always choose Mondstadt.
Even if there is enough left of Khanri'ah to return to, he wouldn't go back. I don't even think he'd return if his father *cough*pierro *coughcough* were to personally ask him to come home. He will spend the rest of his days somewhere else. Where HE feels at home.
I have two theories here.
And here Kaeya seems subtly acknowledge the parallels between his story and the character. I think it's really interesting though that he's criticizing an inept god (though not in a literal sense) that would do these things when that's what Khanri'ans were known for. It's what got them in trouble.
"Who turns fathers against sons and is bent on endless warmongering"
1) Somewhere later down the line we are going to meet Kaeya's father and his father is going to be in the same mind as our sibling. (This will break my fuckin heart. Double if Diluc chooses that moment to drop his pride and back Kaeya up like "You are not his father. A father doesn't abandon his young son.")
2) if you applied his figure of speech a little more literally rather than just interpreting it as the clumsiness of fate, the 'inept god' responsible would, arguably, be our sibling
I feel like in the future as the plot thickens we're going to start seeing more of Kaeya and his connections to all of this. If his father is alive or any other Khanri'ans find out, they may very well work to bring him back.
We might also see some more of Diluc given his past with the Fatui.
This is the only route I got to do bc it's 2am here and the corporeal form needs something called sleep 🙄 But I'm trying to do the hangout before I get spoiled like I did for Kaveh's.
Yes I'm saving all the snapshots from his hangout shhh
Last thought:
Either Kaeya is a poetic genius who came up with this on his own or this implies that some version of Shakespeare exists/ed in the Genshin Universe. Do with that what you will.
