Been seeing people do anatomy studies of Tenna, and decided to try my hand at it. (doing one for my oc Channelle too but thought people would enjoy Tenna's in a post by itself since people aren't always interested in oc's )
I spent most of my time researching and brainstorming how he'd look and behave post the Roaring Knight amputating him, so there's a bit of an essay under the cut if you're interested! I like the thought that he develops a slight disability regarding his mobility in his arms and hands, which will also be explained in detail under the cut.
------------------
Since I headcanon that he's an early 90s model of CRT, I based his body anatomy off old animatronic shells to protect his wiring and skeleton (thanks FNaF for exposing me to all this knowledge). His chest features a small access panel, to reach vital internal systems—such as memory storage, power cores, and old tubes/fuses.
His shoulders are left partially exposed, showing ball joints and mechanical rotors. It's so he has a broader, more fluid range of arm motion than a fully enclosed joint could. His arms and legs are plated in interlocking panels that mimic the appearance of muscle, with gaps around the inner elbow and knee joints for mobility and access. His hands have articulated knuckles and a slot at the ends for claws.
At the hips, he's got accordion-like plates to protect his wiring while allowing significant flexibility in his stride. His feet are flat and wide, with pronounced treads on the sole for stability.
His casing as a whole has many vents to avoid overheating, as a CRT he has no fans to cool his hardware on his own and relies on good ventilation in the studio.
----------------------------------
After the knight amputated him, his repairs were done with spare parts and scrap. The age of his hardware made it hard to fix him perfectly to how things were before, along with some amateur work since the fun gang helped (no fault of their own, though I like to think Kris had the most knowledge among the trio).
Since then, he's developed what I call Joint Stiffness Retention (JSR). I based it a bit on Adhesive Capsulitis (Frozen Shoulder), and Neuropathy.
After his arms were severed and reattached, Tenna’s internal wiring was rerouted through auxiliary joints and patched circuits. While functional, the precision in his movements suffered, particularly under stress. His limbs now require frequent rest—overexertion leads to stutters in fine motor control. While with some recovery, he's improved, the repairs have left him with permanent side effects due to the age of his systems limiting how he could be fixed. At least, until there's time to upgrade his hardware.
Limited grip strength - His servo tendons don’t fully contract anymore. Holding anything tight is like trying to close a stiff spring and may cause his joints to lock up. Mainly in his hands. He can hold the mic—but not for long. Overuse makes his fingers buzz faintly, and may be sore or a bit painful.
Slightly weaker shoulders - His shoulder axis doesn’t pivot like it used to. It clicks if he raises his arm too high. This is mostly a consequence of there not being enough specific parts to repair his shoulders identically to how they used to be mounted to his main frame, as well as amateur repairs made by those inexperienced with electronics.
As personal of a post/link this is, my family is in such a bind this is a last resort. We're struggling majorly right now, to put it simply. We're in hospitals nearly twice a month. If you can at least boost this, I thank you SO SO MUCH in advance. Anything helps at this point.

I just wanna say it was a huge coincidence my brother told me about your works right after I started rewatching El Tigre, as the show truly shaped me as a kid and kept me going growing up through troubling times with my health. I am SO IN LOVE with your version of him and I won’t lie, I love what you’ve got going with him and our other nostalgic protagonists (him and Danny). I’m so glad my brother told me where to find you, and I can’t wait to see more with Manny and the others!
For a real question, however; have you ever drawn White Pantera or any of the other characters of El Tigre?
That's so sweet to hear! I do hope you're doing a lot better nowdays healthwise :')
I've drawn Frida a couple times I just haven't gotten to posting those doodles here yet, but also I absolutely love Rodolfo I really should draw him too at some point
I noticed Mewtwo verbally speaks to Newtwo. Like he doesn't respect her enough to speak to her telepathically like everybody else? I absolutely love that little detail!
I mean, he'll speak to her telepathically, but they've likely been arguing about it for a while now since Mewtwo mentioned he asked if he could sit for the fourth time, so his telepathically probably switched off and he started speaking verbally mid conversation cause his temper is flaring lol
Another silly thing wanted to draw due to listening to a really cool metal cover of some pop songs (that honestly made the original song more better in metal for different reasons).
That there with the rather interesting aesthetic look is Joanne, or Jojo, as her nickname.
She's not actually my character but another friend's character @cadetspades (she isn't on Tumblr most of the time but wanted to properly credit her). Jojo is the daughter of Piers and another self-insert but of my friend. But honestly they work very well together with the same attitudes. 😂
Anyways, Jojo is married to my precious son Charles, he's the biggest simp fan at one of her many concerts.
Might be a big ask but; Can we get like a funny scenario of Shunsui hiding from Nanao for some silly reason, and Jūshirō knows where he is but refuses to tell her. Despite her being pissed off with him
This turned into a comic panel sort of thing by mistake, sorry
I’m guessing it’s time for the big yearly personnel reviews or something.
