Hi 😊 2,4,7 and 11 for the ask set! I'm curious! 😊
Hey there! Thanks for asking :))
2 - do you prefer spending your holidays in your country or traveling abroad?
I love both because traveling is amazing, but I must say that staying in spain is very convenient because it's cheap, the food is amazing, and there are all kinds of things to do (you have the sea, the mountains, the plains, thousands of beautiful architecture sites...). We even have a word in spanish to describe the tourism you do within the peninsula, "turismo de interior"
4 - favorite dish specific for your country?
Cocido madrileño made by my dad. There is no doubt about it. It's a soup with veggies, meat and chickpeas in it and my mouth is watering just from thinking about it. It's usually a weekend meal that you make during the winter to keep you warm, and it is delicious. You can make a bunch of leftover meals from it too.
7 - three words from your native language you like the most?
This is hard, my braincell just escaped my head. Hm. I actually had to go back to a conversation with my friends to find these: chiripa (serendipity ish), defenestrar (yeet out of a window), soltura (ease)
11 - favorite native writer/poet?
A classic, but Federico García Lorca my beloved. He wrote amazing theater plays and his poems are hauntingly beautiful.
