Keanu Reeves Characters as Cakes Part 5
Part 5 of this series for @gea-chan96 💜
Part 1 ~ Part 2 ~ Part 3 ~ Part 4
Julian Mercer - Strawberry Shortcake
Sweet, bright, and perfect for a warm spring day. 🩺
Scott Favor - Fruitcake
Hard, fruity, and evil. (Sorry! 😭) 💸
Kai - Tiramisu
Quiet, reserved, and pretty. 🌸
Marlon James - Dirt Cake
Simple, childlike, and a loveable dirtbag. 🍕
Bob Arctor - Half-baked pan of brownies.
He meant well…he really did… 🌼
Thanks again to @arch-b1sh0p, @casuallyobssessed, @atomic-groupie, @saturnalia2808, @royaldeadqueen, @misspsychoticfics and @pointbreakvhs for helping me with this series! 🎂🍰🎂🍰

I am positively THIRSTY for some Bob Arctor fan creations in the Keanu kult! 😩 Here is my contribution <3
The pain, so unexpected and undeserved, had, for some reason, cleared away the cobwebs. I realized I didn't hate the cabinet door, I hated my life... My house, my family, my backyard, my power mower. Nothing would ever change; nothing new could ever be expected.
It had to end,
and it did.
Now, in the dark world where I dwell, ugly things, and surprising things, and sometimes little wondrous things, spill out in me constantly, and I can count on nothing.
- A Scanner Darkly (2008)

I hope, for everyone's sake, the scanners do better. Because, he thought, if the scanner sees only darkly, the way I myself do, then we are cursed, cursed again and like we have been continually, and we'll wind up dead this way, knowing very little and getting that little fragment wrong too.
I love when he plays losers
In 1994, the Police are in a desperate war on drugs in the United States, especially against the current drug of choice Substance D. Undercover Narc Fred is focusing on Bob Arctor and his household of druggies. His fellow Narc’s don’t know what Frank looks like since the undercover cops where a “Scramble” suit when they are in the office so no one can know their true identity. Because of this, his fellow officers don’t realize Bob Arctor is Frank’s undercover identity. (“A Scanner Darkly” Philip K Dick, Bk)
“This didn’t happen accidentally; it was supposed to happen. So we have this… bad karma on us. I feel it on my back. Like a corpse. I’m carrying a corpse - Bob Arctor’s corpse. Even while he’s technically alive.”
[Image ID: A digital illustration of Bob Arctor and Donna Hawthorne from ‘A Scanner Darkly’. Bob sits on the ground, staring listlessly at his knees, wearing a blue shirt and sweatpants. Donna stands tall above him, looking down at him with a sad and angry expression and clenched fists, wearing her leather jacket over red plaid pants. A blue box framing Arctor’s body stops at Donna’s waist, and is full of hatch mark lines and barely visible flowers, radiant lines encircle his head. Text in the left corner reads “He didn’t volunteer for this…”. End ID]
