Well damn.
Yesterday I competed in my first NPC Mens Masters Physique Competition. I placed 3rd for men 35+ and 5th for men 40+. At age 57 I was the oldest competitor in this division with the closest in age to me was ten years my junior. I feel proud to have held my own. The journey was tough, the required workouts sometime ask for more than I had to give some days. But it was all for a reason, I was was creating a new story, I was new outcome to 2018’s back surgeries and my rehabilitation. The comeback is complete now, but the journey doesn’t stop here. My workouts will continue, my meal prep will continue, eating healthy will continue, the gallon of water each and every day will continue. You see, the journey doesn’t end at the finish line... The finish line is simply a new beginning to creat the life you want.
