Nose: What is your favourite perfume/candle fragrance?

There’s this perfume called Daisy by Marc Jacobs and I really like it. I’m not really into massively feminine things but I love love love Daisy. Other than that I quite like rose water fragrances or dew, just something fresh smelling. dEFINITELY NOT VANILLA GOD NO.

Cheeks: Do you blush easily?

Er not really I don’t think. I don’t blush at flirting and all that really. I don’t blush at much I guess.

20. What kinds of touch do you like most?

In an emotional sense: kind, affectionate touch; in a more straightforward sense, I love strong hugs, my hair being stroked, neck and shoulder massages, hand squeezes, and being picked up if anyone manages it. I really miss my physically affectionate friends right now and I’m so lucky to be in isolation with my spouse. Anyone who’s isolated right now without any touch, I’m sorry. Have a virtual hug from me.

47. How do you use your body for creative expression?

I use my fingers to write and make memes. My body is also my instrument, because I’m a semi-professional singer (my choir does professional gigs, but I don’t get paid personally). My body fails me in many ways, but it’s really good at hitting the high notes.

Skin: Do you tan easily?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA NO. I’m pretty much the white-est of white, all the pale white people countries in Europe? Yeah, my blood. So even with sunscreen, I burn. Especially my back always gets burned whenever I go to the beach/etc. But yeah, I burn and then the skin falls of and I’m slightly a darker color but yeah, PALE ASS WHITE GIRL HERE~

Ears: How many piercings do you have (if any)?

I have my ears pierced once on the lobes (though its the second time its been done in the same place) but I’ve always wanted a nose piercing, just never ended up doing it...

Stomach: Do you feel confident in your body image? 

I’m working on it! I am a lot better with myself and how I am now than a year ago, definitely. I have great eyes, hair and boob, and I’m learning to love myself more. Fuck fatphobia.

I have thick thighs. And whatever you call the waist pockets of fat in English. I have a stomach. I eat healthy and sometimes a little too much chocolate and I didn’t excersise due to depression and then the surgery. But yknow, that means fuck all. I am finally getting back on track to getting fit, and I don’t care how my body will be perceived - I’ve always had wide shoulders. I am tall, I have big bones; this isn’t even an excuse. I’ve just always been called chubby and fat even as a ten year old kid.

And that is fucked up. I will not allow that to rule my life.

7. What are your favorite parts of your own body?

I like my hair and my long, graceful fingers and nails. I like my eyes and lips, and the fact that I have a relatively hourglass figure. And I’ve often been told that my legs are very nicely shaped.

50. What’s one unusual fun fact about your body?

I was going to say “my pancreas doesn’t work” but T1 diabetes is basically the opposite of a fun fact, so: when I stretch my hands, my fingers curve upward significantly, to the point where it looks like my ring finger’s lowest joint is bending the wrong way. It would make certain cultures’ classical dancing much easier, if I had any other dancing talent.

2. What color are your eyes?

That’s the one feature I sort of share with AOS McCoy - they’re hazel and change a lot based on the light quality. Probably closer to the light brown side overall than the green side.

6. What types of exercise do you enjoy?

Most things that I don’t think of as exercise - walking to explore the city, playing an active game, dancing. If pressed, I can get pretty zen when I run on an elliptical. My best friend and I used to go to the gym a lot and talk about many things (including making up ludicrous Star Trek plots) while we lifted weights and such. Those were good times.

12. Do you tend to feel hot or cold?

Oh man! It really depends. In the summer I can overheat really easily, and I hate feeling too hot, but overall I tend to run cold. My circulation isn’t so great, and I sometimes torture my spouse with icy hands and feet.

15. Do you have long fingernails?

Yes. I love my long, strong, natural nails that take virtually no work to keep that way.

10. What parts of your body are you most self-conscious of?

Oh...all of them? Heh. I’d have to go with stomach, thighs, round face shape, and my large nose, none of which I like. Thankfully my spouse specifically loves all of them, and tells me that regularly.

39. Have you ever had any surgery?

I’ve had three, all in one year (2013). Mostly, it was because I slipped on black ice stepping off a bus and literally snapped my left elbow in half (there was at least a centimetre gap between the pieces). I’m left-handed, so it sucked! I had to have surgery to pin it back together, then another one when the pin worked its way out of the bone and I could see it under the skin (it was uncomfortable). My elbow’s fine now, and I have pretty much 100% range of motion.
