#bonding bites

Hey prof! If an omega gets marked by an abusive alpha, and another alpha comes along to save them. They fall in love etc etc etc. Would said new alpha be able to like, remark the omega?

Depends on the AU. 

Some AUs...(not limited to)

Bond until death do us part.

Bond until one or both parties agree on breaking said bond.

Bond until another bond takes place, which breaks previous bond. 

I like to believe that a mate can be bonded again, even if they had a previous bond. Whether it was broken or not. 

If it is more like option 3, it makes me think the Alpha (or previous mate) would be more protective of their mate, since bonds can be broken by another bond. 

Sometimes, I like to think bonds won’t take if one of the parties is not okay with it. Such as, it wasn’t consented.

If an omega is bitten but the alpha that did it no longer wishs to be in the omegas life or just abandons them what would happen and would another Alpha be able to bomd with them?

That can happen! It’s very sad, and can be painful, emotionally and mentally. I am assuming only the Alpha wanted to break the Bond and the Omega didn’t. Either party can break Bonds. In some AUs Bonds can’t break unless one of them dies. These headcanons can be applied to that as well. 

It’s heart breaking. 

Mentally and Emotionally taxing.

The bite will slowly fade. Which, causes more mental and emotional harm.

The Omega may scratch at the bite, trying to keep it. Trying to make it bleed and scar over. 

They give off that disturbing scent of a depressed and anxious Omega. 

Yes, another will be able to bond with them. Even if the Omega’s Bonding Bite is still there, but fading.

I like bond bites as more of a cultural thing. Like, the neck biting is just a thing that happens a lot, but society makes it Mean Something. There's scent glands there ofc but no actual bonding gland or whatever. And the bites aren't permanent unless someone is excessively aggressive

That’s an interesting concept and view! I can totally dig it. I’ve always combined the idea of the Scent Gland and the Bonding Gland. That the Scent Gland is the Bonding Gland. And bites are only permanent if blood is drawn. 

But it’s your AU, you can have it mean whatever you want!

Probably will delve into some NSFW stuff as well. I’ll tag just in case. 

Disclaimer: Not all AU’s have same Dynamics being able to bond, but for this Ask, they can. 

During the heat of the moment, they take turns placing their bonding bite on each other.

They cannot knot each other, and (in some AU’s) not being Knotted during heat can be painful for the Omega, so they incorporate toys with knots on them. 

Their scents during heats are twice as strong (or stronger) which in turn just edge each other on. Drowning in each other’s scents. 

Perhaps they take turns being on top, loving each other thoroughly. 

Even if it’s an Omega/Omega pair, they know when to incorporate the  helpful scents during their heats. Such as items that are Alpha scented, or candles etc. Whatever helps make the Heat less painful.
