It has been years since they've experienced wolfsbane, but they've never forgotten the acrid, bitter scent it leaves behind in their nostrils. Like the tiniest grains of sand scratching against their nerves. Arte coughs, trying to escape the burning in their eyes and mouth. A noose is thrown around their neck, and their instincts kick in without even thinking about it. They swing wildly, hoping to catch whoever had laid this trap for them until a blow to the head makes them collapse like a sack of potatoes.
Then they're being pulled along like a dog on a leash, and it is all Arte can do to not pass out. "W-wai--" It's like their body knows where it is and the bubble they have been living in pops as they are dragged outside of Port Leiry's limits.
The splintering of bone rouses them from their wolfsbane-induced disorientation and Arte screams as their hip dislocates from its socket. The shift is wrong, different from the turn they've learned to live with over the years. Now, they can feel the curl of magic under their skin, digging its claws deeper into their body as it twists. Unnatural. It's faster, like the curse is eager to pull Arte back into its grip once more. / @huntercam @elysiumkerr
Whumpee’s favourite colour is red. Well – it used to be. Now when they see red all they can think of is the sound of screams, the tearing of flesh, the breaking of bones, and the blood splatters on the wall.
Whumper’s favourite colour used to be blue. Now it’s the colour of Whumpee’s blood, the tears that stain their face, their voice cracking as they beg him to stop. If he’s feeling more sadistic than usual, he’ll wear a red t-shirt for a particularly long torture session.
He painted the walls red, made all the furniture red, bought tools with red handles (and inevitably red blades). It was garish and made his head hurt but it was all worth it. Even if Whumpee miraculousy managed to escape, they would never be able to forget. Valentines and Christmas would be tainted with the memory of Whumper. Anything that brought Whumpee joy would be destroyed.
Patton breaking Logan's legs on "accident" so he has to stay with them after overhearing Logan talking to Remus about considering switching to the dark sides. Logan now having to be dependent on Patton because he can't go anywhere on his own.
Hey Jvar, before you say anything just entertain the imagination for a minute or so. What would you think is the worst possible pain you could go through?
He sits for a moment, pondering the question over a fresh glass of wine. "I've heard breaking the femur bone in the thigh is some of the worst pain a human can experience." He taps his fingers on the armrest of his chair, golden rings catching the light. His beard is well groomed, his toga spotless, yet something about the emporer does not seem right.
"Of course I would not know that from my own experience." Jvar smiles, ever so slightly. "But I have heard the screams."
so since half the internet loves killing stalking and half hates it, i decided to read it. I'm at chapter 5 and here's how I currently feel about it. In terms of problematic things uh, it's fucked up but idk about glorifying abuse, it is quite terrifying though. At the moment I legitimately feel nauseous because god, it's just... "what the fuck" is the only way I can describe it. It's from an odd point of view, and the guy holding the other guy hostage (god I can't remember names), is especially what the fuck. Like dude he legit goes from "I'm gonna break your legs" to "here u can have this knife(?)" Honestly this is the most confusing yet interesting and twisted things I think I've ever seen?
Based on post-FB headcanons with Aurelius and Nagini getting together and having children.
Got some inspiration from Origi. nals Klaus being there for Hope’s transformation.
Credence, now named Aurelius looked at his daughter with the same pride as any parent would. Tonight was a night that Nagini had feared for their child due to the blood curse.
Not only did she receive her Hogwarts letter and celebrated, but her birthday was arriving at ten pm, that is where he wished Nagini was around. He did not know what to expect aside from what he was told, but she had left on unavoidable business no matter how much she begged for the night off.
So he stayed with her. Their son was spending the night with Aberforth. While he stayed in their little cottage.
He was reminded of werewolf transformations, but this was different, she would remain sane without potions, but the pain will still be similar the first time. He stayed with her as he remembered the first time his own Obscurus burst out. How afraid he was, in pain, confused. He refused to have his or any daughter deal with this alone.
No Maledictis or Obscurial should deal with being alone when they first transform, dangerous or otherwise.
Melinda was sitting on the bed when it began. The cracking sound made her whine and writhe as her father comforted her.
“I’m here. Let it flow, don’t fight it. If you fight against it, it will hurt so much more.” He did not allow her to think she was alone. He watched her breathe as she began to change. Bones breaking and realigning to her other form, her cries made his heart ache knowing there was nothing he could do to ease her pain. Slowly did her body change.
Only ones with the female linage would have the blood curse and to one day change and never become human again. It was a grief. But he remained proud of her. “Breathe deep.”
She screamed out finally as she changed into another form unlike her mother’s. What had been his daughter, now lay a dark cat that shivered in some pain still before looking up at her father with the same dark eyes.
“You’re so beautiful, Melinda.” He gently picks her up and walks to the door that he opened and sat on the porch with the cat. She stretched and moved her new form to test herself and her limits. “If you want to run, you may. Be back before dawn. Your mom will want to know you’re doing well. She will be so proud.” He smiles down at her as she meows up at him, hops down and began to run into Hogsmeade.
Aurelius watching his daughter disappear into the night with a sadness and pride. His beloved and his daughter will one day be trapped in an animal’s body. He just hoped it will still be a long way from now. Or that a cure would stop the curse once and for all and make their animal forms nothing more than harmless Animagus forms.
LIZZIE SALTZMAN ( @siphoncursed ) wants ‘ a kiss that isn’t meant to happen but does so anyway. ’
She really shouldn’t be surprised that Lizzie tracked her down. The twins had been relentless in their search for her since she left their father for dead, each in their own way. While the scavenger hunt across the South had been an amusing way to pass the time, she had a few pressing matters that really couldn’t be delayed any longer. So she waited for them to appear in her hometown, with spells and tears and emotional words that would probably mean nothing to her.
She didn’t expect Lizzie to be alone though. While her girlfriend was stubborn and persistent, she also hesitated when it came to her own magic and power. Fear of hurting others would always be Lizzie’s weakness. So she had thought that her sister would be with her, brimming with dark magic as a last ditch attempt to save their dear friend’s soul. It was a shame though. The twins had spent their entire lives together, and they would now die apart, but Hope had warned them.
The begging, the crying, the pleas for her to turn her humanity back on, they all fell on deaf ears as Hope stepped forward, a nonchalant grin on her face. The tiniest flicker of humanity at the back of her mind was drowned out by the terror in Lizzie’s eyes as she reached out for her neck.
The point of no return.
It shouldn’t have felt so satisfying, feeling the bones twist and snap in her hands. The way she could hear Lizzie’s last breath forced from her lungs as she fell to the ground, tears still clinging to perfect eyelashes. It should have been horrible.
It wasn’t.
The blonde laid there, looking almost as if she could be sleeping if not for the odd angle of her neck. Hope stood over her body, looking down at her curiously almost like she was a specimen under the microscope. The humanity-laden side of her was fracturing, a silent death under the suffocating indifference she shielded herself with.
Given all of that, Hope didn’t know what possessed her to lean down, smooth away a strand of hair that had fallen into her face, and press a single kiss to her forehead. A goodbye.
With that done, she stood once more, brushing the dust off her knees as she turned to leave when her ears picked up on something that shouldn’t have happened. A breathless gasp, the crunch of bones realigning, and Hope turned to see Lizzie standing, veins popping out under her eyes, and a smirk curled across the tribrid’s face at the sight.
@moramiseri wanted [ failure ] - for my muse to know the time and cause of your muses death, and fail to prevent it - (Landon/Rafael)
His hands are shaking. He doesn’t know how he ended up back at the school, his clothes in tatters and very much alone. He can hear people talking to him, at him, but his brain can’t make sense of what those words are. His wolf senses concern and urgency, and he hears her cut through all of the noise, demanding to know where Landon is.
Landon.
His memory is a blank canvas and that scares Rafael because the last thing he remembers is leaving campus with Landon and MG, while Kaleb and the others went to track down a monster in Maple Hollow. But they’re all back now and looking at Rafael with a mix of pity and annoyance, which means he is missing time again.
The day passes agonizingly slowly and bits and pieces start to come back to him. By the time the sun has set and they are out in the woods looking for their friends, Rafael remembers. They come across MG, the scent of stale blood and death thick around him and he can still smell Landon on him and he has to turn away, to be better than what everyone always expected out of him.
When he finds Landon’s body, a sob tears from his chest, and he falls to his knees beside his brother. His eyes are still open in fear, and Rafael’s lungs burn. The chains that kept him locked to the tree as his bones shattered and reformed are now in pieces, scattered about the clearing. Too little too late.
“I’m sorry, Lan,” he whispers into his chest, gathering him into his arms. “I’m so sorry. Fuck,” he cries out. When Hope joins him, her grief bowls him over and he can only look at her apologetically. He was right there. He could have stopped this.
