How the Slaughter family reacts to you kissing their cheek.

Bubba: He's instantly making happy but flustered noises, flapping his hands in an excited stim. He pressed a kiss to your cheek in return then squeals excitedly again. He wants more kisses!

Thomas: Takes a sharp breath and looks at you with wide eyes. His eyes soften and he pulls you in for a warm hug. "Thanks." he signs with shaky hands. It just made his day so much better.

Nubbins: Instantly giggling. He sours when Chop Top laughs, scolding his twin for ruining the moment. He returns a kiss to your lips, if you'll have it.

Chop Top: Grinning from ear to ear, even when Nubbins laughs. "Sweet thing!" He coos before pecking your cheek in return. He's so lucky to have you.

Drayton: "Don't do that!" He says out of surprise, flustered and red-faced. He secretly enjoys the sweet kiss but is shocked and embarrassed. "Fine, just one more... but don't tell anybody, y'hear!"

Sissy: "Awww, sweetheart..." She smiles softly, for once calm and not maniacal. "Aintcha just so cute, bein' sweet on me." She could sure appreciate more kisses and she'll hum you a lullaby in return.

Hands: Red face. Silent. Wide eyes. Dropped hammer. He's shocked, to say the least. But then he gets a small growing grin on his face. "One more? Please?"

Bones: Standard laughter, excited even if slightly maniacal. Attacks your face with kisses as well. Demands a cheek kiss everytime you see him, but you don't mind.

Johnny: Shocked but smirks. Calls you a petname and tells you to kiss his lips next time, maybe you'll get a nice surprise. Once you leave, he squeaks into his hands and grins for the rest of the day.

I actually do wanna get back into Texas Chain Saw; it's been a hot minute since I even played, let alone wrote any of my stupid think pieces, but I miss Johnny and Maria so muuuuccchhgh!!!!

For now, a thought I've had for a while, at least, since Gun made that post for the Maria competition (congrats to the winner of that, god do I wish it was me-), asking for our best "final girl" moments, and how strongly they've marketer her as our final girl, I am more confident than ever in my belief that Maria DOES in fact survive the events of April 1973.

This is bolstered by the fact that Bones mentions his safe house to Johnny. Where is this safe house? Granger, Texas. Where ELSE is in Granger, Texas? The Omega Sigma Theta Sorority House.

It's interesting to me that Bones tells this to Johnny and only Johnny. Sure, this is his fault, but why wouldn't he tell Drayton, who famously moves the family around to keep them out of trouble, or Nancy, who could move them both somewhere safe and who Bones has an interesting relationship with (they bone.)? I think it's because Johnny has told Bones about Maria. That he wants to keep her, and keep her safe, and they both know that shit is gonna hit the fan in the family after the Victims are dealt with.

The events go down as I've discussed before; the family kill the Victims, bar Maria, but now see her as a liability, especially Nancy. Nancy goes in for the kill, Johnny kills Nancy to save Maria, and the pair have to run away. Maria now has nowhere to go- everyone she loves is dead apart from her mother, and the last thing she wants is to lose the only person she has left. Not to mention that Johnny has cared for her this whole time, no matter how twisted his care is, that will surely affect her. So, she goes with Johnny. Where?

And either Johnny tries to give up the knife for a bit, genuinely settle down with her, and fails, or he never stops, and Maria either accepts him for the murderer that he is, or has to live with it because she has no other option. Either way, he ends up going to Omega Sigma Theta in October of 1978 and committing the Rush Week Massacre, and either gets out Scott free, or runs from the cops safely back to Maria's arms

Hope this is something for now!! Like I said, I'm missing Newt and I wanna get back into the game, just been absolutely swamped with uni work and also super into Outlast Trials as well as my own personal writing (speaking of, not to like, shamelessly self promote, but I actually wrote a whole original novel inspired by the dynamic between Maria, Johnny and Nancy called "Mama's Boy" that I'd someday love to try and get published, and then I'm also currently writing another novel inspired by Rush Week called "RUSH", followed a cannibal cheerleader sorority girl murdering her way through the football team and frat boys. This game is a HUGE inspiration to me 🙂‍↕️), but I will hopefully spare some time to go over some new stuff. I'm super intrigued by the Stormy version of the Slaughter House and the American flag there which I swear DOWN did not used to be there, so I'd love to discuss more about the maps and new characters and such soon 😊
