A little moment in OFMD that makes me scream and cry more than most is after the kiss when they decide to run away together and Ed says “I’ll work out all the details, you think up some new names. Cool ones.” LIKE. Ed knows that it’ll be faster if he’s the one to sort everything out without Stede’s help but he’s making such a conscious effort to give Stede a task that seems important so that he can still feel valuable and included!!! That scene is all about showing how in love with Stede Ed is and that detail just makes it even more obvious
