Making good progress on the book resurrection! I've now rewritten 62k of the almost 115k word count that I lost. If I can maintain my current writing momentum there's actually a fair chance I might be able to finish it before the end of the year. We'll see.
I have now passed 50k words in resurrecting the book my old laptop ate. It was almost to 115k word count and just days away from being finished when (about four years ago) a malfunction corrupted my book's file beyond repair and I've been (slowly) working to rewrite it ever since.
