1. The build up
This one has a lot of things going on. It’s fast-paced but lingers, and you should write this carefully to make it hit hard. The two characters should be having a normal conversation with some obvious tension between them. It gradually starts to get even more awkward as they keep talking, until one of them says something that makes it all SNAP. Once they do that, it should start to get heated.
2. Emotional dump 😭
They’ll be going back and forth at each other angrily, but also letting the most vulnerable part of them show without knowing it. This one is kind of hard to explain, so here’s an example:
person a: “You’ve been so distant, (Person B). I thought we were close, and I— I don’t even know why you stopped hanging out or talking to me!”
person b: “So this is my fault now? You can’t expect me to chase you all the time, it’s like you don’t care about me.”
person a: “I never said that, (Person B)”
I know that’s a pretty bland example, but that’s just to put it simply. Of course it won’t look the same for every writer, especially because character’s have different and unique characteristics and personality traits.
3. Climax/peak of the argument
Someone is going to raise their voice, or maybe even get quieter and just sound… defeated. Whatever line you choose to use here needs to really cut deep. Not outwardly mean, just true. It could be a truth about their love interest, or themselves—but that’s what makes it HURT. The words will hang in the air, and maybe they’ll push away or just stand there. I think that this certain part should be done very meticulously since it leaves readers staring at the wall
4. Aftermath (underrated)
When you fight with someone irl, don’t you feel how awkward it is afterward? It’s happened to everyone at least once, so you can definitely use your own experience to write this:) In this case, there’s romantic feelings involved—which makes it all the more complex. I would say this one depends on you character’s traits and personality because of the fact that different people have different ways to cope or handle situations

the urge to write but I hate the planning stage and I need to plan my writing in order to write 😔
Hello!
My name is Bee, and I am writing a book! Now I know what you're thinking: "Aren't half the teens on Tumblr doing that?" Well, probably. The difference with me is that I am actually going to complete, and publish, it.
You heard me. Do you know what the problem is, though? Books need fandoms, and I've been feeling a little worried that there won't be enough love for Lilac.
That's why I'm here, to answer your questions and share information on this W.I.P to get you all excited!
I'm only 14, so it would mean the world to me if you could make this blog popular and share my story to the world.
