Writing rule:

Every character who speaks gets their own paragraph. If two characters are talking, each time they switch you must create a new paragraph.

Do not add more than one characters’s dialogue into a single paragraph or it will be too confusing for the reader.

One of my favorite parts of writing is going back through the Ancient Drafts™ to find bits that you want to reuse then having to go through said section and fix it. Like no Harper you can't say that anymore there is no longer a fabricated pandemic taking place in your universe. You have to make it about the human experiments now.
