“...that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” - John 16:33
Hi. Call me Solana, it means “peace” and that’s a picture of me gazing at the sunset back December 2019. I love sunsets more than I love the sunrise. Back then, I feel like I can relate more to the sun every time that it sets during the afternoon --- I am like the sun when it sets, I am slowly going down. Yet unlike the sun that rises every 5-6AM, I am uncertain of my rise.
Chaos, this world is a chaos. Betrayals, traumas, hearsays, false love, rejected hope and all that’s breaking us right now --- surprise, it’s not meant for you. It’s not written for you. If you’re reading this right now, I’m pretty sure you love coffee, yup, don’t deny it there honey.
Have you ever wondered what if the peace that you search for can be bought at your favorite coffee shop? Like a wake-up hope hot coffee in the morning and a reminder to keep moving forward-iced coffee in the afternoon. A sold out for sure.
Reality check, it doesn’t exist.
Even Jesus prophesied that in this world, we will not be invincible to pain. He knew we will be going through a tough time and I’m sorry if you are having a tough time while reading this --- Jesus left us a letter from John 16:33.
A reminder that in Him, we will have peace.
That in His Word, there’s a coffee shop waiting for us where all sorts of peace, joy, hope and restoration flavored coffees are available and guess what, FOR FREE!
Battles are not meant to be fought alone. Let’s fight it together with the Lord. He has already overcome the world and all that you are battling right now -- He will overcome that with you.
May the peace of Jesus be upon you.
Love,
Solana
