OTP forever, and why?

For a while it was Percy and Annabeth, but then I became a little disenchanted. I still ship them, but my true OTP is Merlin and Arthur. Those two love each other so much and it's always so adorable, and I can't stand it.

Elsa or Anna?

Why would you ask such a question?! I think I'm going to have to go with Elsa, but my friends say that sometimes I act like Anna. I mean, story-wise Elsa is the best, but Anna is so sweet and quirky and just perfect.

What was the last thing you ate?

A peanut butter chocolate chunk cookie. Yum.

Name three things around you that could be used to kill someone.

Well, I'm really close to my kitchen, so basically everything in there. So Windex, a big knife, and a charger cord that's good for asphyxiating.

Burst out into the first song that comes to mind. What is it?

DANCING THROUGH LIFE! MINDLESS AND CARELESS! (Dancing Through Life from Wicked). I've kind of had this stuck in my head for about twelve hours now.

What was the best gifset/artwork that you last saw on tumblr?

There was some amazing Elsa artwork and then a Jack Frost piece right after. I can't remember who did it, but it's somewhere on my blog.

Left or Right?

Left. I actually have reasons for this. 1) Mordor, Gandalf. Is it left or right? (Left) 2) I know something you don't know. I am not left handed 3) I'm actually left handed.

Favorite Disney princess?

Either Tiana or Anna. Both are wondeful. I think I'll have to say Tiana because I learned a lot from her. Anna's great, but she didn't have that growth that Tiana had.

My Questions

1) Do you have a favourite book series?

Harry potter. Always.

2) Is there a book that you were pleasantly surprised by?

Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe

It was a requirement of a class and i was put off by studying it but it will be on my bookshelf for the rest of my life, the author died this year which is a shame because i would've loved to meet him and thank him for writing it

3) Is there a particular book that reminds you of your childhood?

this is going to sound strange but Prey by Michael Crichton

i had to have read that book a million times as a kid, i loved horror stories and it never failed to give me shivers even after multiple reads

4) Do you prefer paperback books, hardback books, or ebooks?

hardbacks tbh but a book being paperback, hardback, or ebook would never affect my decision to buy it, that's just up to the book

5) What is your favourite genre of book?

historical fiction

6) Is there a book that everyone else seemed to like, but you disliked?

divergent sorry it's not that i disliked it so much as i though the society was more interesting than the main character or her story, i think it would've been a more interesting story if you got to read about the different lives of kids in each faction but i guess that's what fan fiction is for

doesn't matter and it varies, sometimes i want to read where there's a lot of activity going on around me, sometimes i want to read at the kitchen table, and sometimes i want to read in bed

modern although there are a few classic that hold my heart

a tie between Hermonie Granger and Elizabeth Bennett, they both taught me different things

DelusionalAdventurer tagged me in this, and I'll be honest - until she did, I had no idea how this whole question/answer thing worked, because I never read the rules bit. Here goes.

1. If you were able to have a lovely sit-down-for-tea/coffee chat with anyone ever, who would it be and what would you want to talk about?

Anyone ever? Living or dead? My father. I would want to tell him about everything that has happened since November 6, 2006, when he died. I would want him to tell me everything that he was going to tell me when I was older and had more life experience. I would want to talk to him about all the experiences he's had and what he learned from them. I would want our sit-down to never end.

2. Do you think you’ve changed at all this year? How so? Are you happy with the change? 

I think I've become a lot more able and willing to deal with social situations. I'm glad, because it makes my life easier. I'm also occasionally upset because I often feel like I've become less independent and more easily susceptible to peer pressure.

3. How do you want to die? 

Instantaneously and painlessly (in other words, without knowing that it happened), or in my sleep (if that actually happens, which I've never been clear on - maybe people just wake up and go through horrible pain before they die and if no one is around to hear them then no one realizes it.)

4. What adventure do you want to go on? 

I want to travel alone with lots of books and notebooks and limited internet connectivity someday. 

5. If you were magically awesome at something, what would that something be? How would you use this awesome something in your daily life? 

If I could be supremely awesome at something, I think I would choose to be a lot more musical. I would use the awesome something to make others and myself happy, hopefully. And to relax and feel more confident in the musical realm, I suppose.

6. If you could redo a moment in your life, would you? 

Probably a million tiny moments that barely matter and that mostly involve feeling embarrassing or awkward. But big moments - crucial things - no. Regretting things is too painful, so I don't do it.

7. What is your favorite musical instrument and why? 

I honestly have no idea. It depends on my mood. Piano, violin and cello are all pretty up there. And saxophone.

8. Where/what is your “happy place”? 

Books, words, sentences. Thinking about those things helps. Also wherever my cats are.

9. If you could exist in any book/movie/television universe, which one would you choose? Who would be your friends? 

Probably either Tamora Pierce's Tortall or Jacqueline Carey's Terre d'Ange. Though I'm not sure. I feel like I would be intruding. Harry Potter's world would really be my choice, most of all, of course, really, when you get right down to it, but it feels so naive, because I'm still sort of waiting for my letter...

10. What is one thing you hope to accomplish in your lifetime? 

I hope to feel satisfied with what I have done with my writing.

11. What do you think about right before you fall asleep? 

About how i have to turn the bedside light off because I'm falling asleep on my book.

THANK YOU! I love the stage version. The movie version was too dark. It is a dark comedy not a drama.

it's that the vocals are completely UNDERWHELMING it throws the whole thing off. 

Idk when I saw it in theatres I loved it but now I'm rewatching it and it feels weird and wrong I keep hearing George Hearn in my head and I'm just like eugh Johnny Ily but no NOOOO
