NYC Launch Party on May 31st

AGRITECTURE + OUR NAME IS FARM PRESENT the Summer 2017 Event Series Launch Event.

AGRITECTURE has moved into a new, much larger, storefront office in East Williamsburg! Designing a space like the one we finally have has been my dream since I first started the blog in 2011; so now I’m totally thrilled to use this new office to demonstrate and practice my vision for growing in the city. 🌱🏢

My vision for the space is bold: to host the best networking events & workshops, be a local agriculture gathering place, a mini locavore market, and develop the largest urban agriculture library in NYC. 🌱📚

New Agritecture Office has been taking shape. We have big ideas to do more with our space!

Since we first got the keys on April 1st, my team and I have been filling our new office with hydroponic systems and luscious plants (we share the office with Blue Planet Consulting). Now we’re ready and excited invite you all to enjoy this special space with us!

WATCH WITH SUBTITLES FOR EXTRA CLARITY!

After a month of inactivity I'm back with my latest short film, transHUMAN.

A peek into the minds of three young designers. What might the future look like? What does it hold for us? For their assignment they teamed up with me to make this film about Transhumanisme, a phenomenon that is dawning on us already!

It was a lot of fun working with this small team of people and I hope we can do it again sometime!

Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey

Last week I heard on the radio about Cosmos, a scientific series about humans, the universe and everything. This is the second series, inspired by the one from 1980 created by Carl Sagan. This series makes unimaginably difficult material available for the masses. If you want to know anything about the universe and our place within it you definitely have to check it out!

A short description by the site itself:

Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey will invent new modes of scientific storytelling to reveal the grandeur of the universe and re-invent celebrated elements of the original series, including the Cosmic Calendar and the Ship of the Imagination. Uniting scepticism and wonder, and weaving rigorous science with visual, emotional and spiritual elements, it will be a transcendent experience – a vision of the cosmos on the grandest scale we know.Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey premieres on Sunday 16 March at 7PM.

Today we went to Winterswijk for a photoshoot of Yulia. It was real fun to see my girl action. She looked great wearing her outfit and make up!
