 Ok so most of lock down has been spent making Beskar inspired cog beads for @packconfig .

For the 2nd batch of beads we used a new damascus but it was way to hard and had to be annealed several times before it could be drilled and worked .

The pics above just go to show that everything is made by hand , thoughpower toos  are used to drill and cut of course.

Had a great time taking a photography class yesterday given by Dave at @thousandwordphoto.nj (check him out if you're local to South Jersey/Philly) The course I took was a 3 hour hands on intro to DSLR digital photography and we covered pretty much everything I had no idea I didn't know. For example, Check out this shot highlighting the depth of field focusing on the chamfered end grain of one of my walnut and swirly birch cutting boards with my new @boschtoolsna colt Palm router in the background. I actually took this with my phone, not the DSLR I was practicing on yesterday, but it's awesome to finally have a grasp on the concepts of digital photography and be able to put them to practical use. Surprised how flat this cherry is after I resawed it into three sheets. I forgot to cut it to length first so I have some extra. Usually I end up with all sorts of cupping.
