However, with tourism comes a price—huge increase in glass waste left behind. Thus, Bottle-Up’s mission to raise awareness about recycling and upcycling of glass.

Kaichuan Wang, a young Chinese designer based in the United States, presents “A Dovetail”, a collection of stools and tables in tribute to the woodworking assembly technique called dovetail. This assembly method does not use nails or screws and it highlights the qualities of wood, for optimized storage and transport.
