Bourbon Balls are a classic holiday treat with a delightful blend of chocolate, pecans, and bourbon. These no-bake delights are perfect for the holiday dessert table or as homemade gifts. The adults will love the hint of bourbon flavor in each bite!
Ingredients: 2 cups crushed vanilla wafers. 1 cup finely chopped pecans. 1 cup confectioners' sugar. 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder. 1/4 cup bourbon whiskey. 2 tablespoons light corn syrup. 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder for rolling. 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar for rolling.
Instructions: In a large mixing bowl, combine crushed vanilla wafers, finely chopped pecans, 1 cup confectioners' sugar, and 2 tablespoons cocoa powder. Stir in bourbon whiskey and light corn syrup until the mixture is evenly moistened and comes together like a dough. Using your hands, roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. In a separate bowl, combine 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder and 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar for rolling. Roll each bourbon ball in the cocoa-sugar mixture until well coated. Place the coated bourbon balls back on the parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set. Once set, transfer the Bourbon Balls to an airtight container, separating layers with wax paper, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
