Kaelen is the Earth Avatar born after Korra. Growing up in Ba Sing Se, he lived a relatively normal life and had no idea he was the next Avatar. When he was young, a dark spirit attack and killed his mother. Since then, Kaelen has a deep resentment toward spirits and struggles to trust them.
