Prehistoric* Plates! More below cut!
So I’ve never really sculpted before and for my new modelling class this semester it requires daily sculpts! I know that they are terrible but I figured I would post anyway to show how much practice can really show improvement.
They aren’t exactly referenced from anything other than photos for the giraffe and angler fish.
This is week one, 24/9 - 30/9

Name: Bravoceratops polyphemus
Name Meaning: Wild Horn Face
First Described: 2013
Described By: Wick & Lehman
Classification: Dinosauria, Ornithischia, Genasauria, Neornithischia, Cerapoda, Marginocephalia, Ceratopsia, Neoceratopsia, Coronosauria, Ceratopsoidea, Ceratopsidae, Chasmosaurinae
Bravoceratops is a Ceratopsian known from a fragmentary skull that was similar in appearance to Anchiceratops, from what we can determine about it. It would have been a very large Ceratopsian, similar to Torosaurus and Triceratops. It was found in the Javelina Formation in Texas, dating back to about 70 million years ago, in the Maastrichtian age of the Late Cretaceous. It lived in a flood plain somewhat far away from the inland sea, living alongside other dinosaurs such as Alamosaurus, Kritosaurus, and potentially Gryposaurus. It is, for now, the only Ceratopsian known from its formation.
