Good afternoon Game Changers! I’m sure everyone has heard yesterday’s announcement right?
Fall Out Boy has officially been announced as Saturday’s headliner for the Skate and Surf Festival! Also added to Saturday’s line up are Balance and Composure, Air Dubai, Candy Hearts, Coasta, Crown the Empire, Death Spells, Driicky Grahm, For the Fallen Dreams, Hi-Rez, Hundredth, I am King, I Call Fives, Jake Miller, Mixtapes, Major League, Paradise Fears, Seahaven, Sworn In, Tallhart, and Wolves at the Gate. Bob’s special guest will also be performing Saturday as well. Cartel, Chris Webby, Dangerkids, Gideon, Ice Nine Kills, and the Pro Letarians have all been added to Sunday’s lineup.
Excited over the lineup additions? Don’t worry; there is still at least one more! According to a tweet via John D, this is only 80% of the lineup.
The official Skate and Surf website has been revamped. Any and all your questions will soon be answered by just clicking on the numerous options it now offers. Make sure you check it out!
A lot of have questions have been surfacing about the parking issue for the festival. I’m going to try and help clear up any confusion. Parking has been reserved for the fans that have purchased the VIP package. John and the rest of the Skate and Surf crew are asking fans to park or be dropped off at the East Freehold Showgrounds. The showgrounds are six miles from the festival site and there will be shuttle passes available later for purchase. The shuttle will be open for business four hours before the festival starts and run into the wee hours both Saturday and Sunday. Again, more information will be coming over the next few weeks. Please make sure to check the official Skate and Surf website for details.
Tickets are on sale now via the Skate and Surf website. VIP passes and weekend passes are available on a will call basis only as of right now. Single day tickets go on sale Thursday at 3p e.s.t. Make sure you get your tickets Game Changers; I have a feeling with all the lineup excitement they will go fast!
Game changers have you heard of Dan Tracey yet? Dan is doing a video project for the festival and John D and needs everyone’s help! Contact him via Facebook or twitter to find out how you can do your part!
Some of the Break Contest shows were cancelled this weekend due to inclement weather. Please check out the Break Contest website for information about rescheduling. If you have a chance to check out any of these shows, please do. Support the Break Contest and your local music scene!
