Fabulous Friday : Sorry Saturday

Friday fun: Obviously I needed something special to get my butt back on the bike (again) and it came in the form of the gorgeous Insta-star @shaecycle visiting Perth for work. I borrowed my little old Cannondale back from my SIL for Shae and we enjoyed a brilliant coastal coffee ride talking non-stop. My Girl thinks I need to work on my pout lol, but let’s just call it my insouciant look 😉, and you know, at my age, wrinkles. 😂 Laughter lines are better! 😁 #smiling #striving
Fab Friday: After a haloumi-sweet potato-poached egg stack for breakfast with Shae, I kicked back with a cappuccino at my hairdressing appointment, before a night out with a group of former school mums. I think only a couple of them train regularly at anything so the tone of the evening was rather more carefree than it is with cycling or running friends.
Sorry Saturday: I am not looking or feeling so fab this morning. I missed run training! The shame! 😔 This is what happens when you willingly let people top up the buckets that pass for glasses these days and don’t keep track. Today’s exercise will be ‘modified’, i.e., walking 7km-odd to collect my abandoned car. 😣 At least breakfast was healthy, the sun is shining and the Panadol is taking effect.
