idk why but for the past two weeks, breathing feels harder at night… it’s messing with my sleep and i hate it :(
Thinking about Primarchs with an SO with breathing problems (As someone with COPD 3)
Thinking about the way they would pause to listen to your lungs, possibly counting the length of time you inhale or exhale to see how bad it is at the current moment. (Might be a little oc, definitely rambling)
Some would carry medicine with them for you instinctively if you didn't want to be augmented/it wasn't possible to fix the illness. All would be more wary about your health due to it to differing levels.
Ferrus would be pushing to augment your lungs to "improve you". Hates to see you suffer or struggle and knows he can fix it if you just let him. Firm arguments are likely to occur. Constantly making prototypes and schematics to offer. Becoming more conviluted as it goes. Mabe if he adds more abilities to what he offers you'll accept and not have to deal with this anymore.
Angron becomes more aggressive the more your breathing suffers. Someone's wearing a heavy perfume that sends you into a coughing fit? Dead. They're so dead. Sometimes sends you away with one of his sons during a breathing issue because the nails scream too loud from the anger of not being able to fix this issue. He's trying.
Mortarion by far is the worst for this. His anxiety over making your symptoms worse just by being around you is sky high. The man goes through so many decontamination processes it's not even funny. He's researching everything to try and help, coming up with stranger things to try and heal you. Constantly terrified he's going to make you sicker and have you die but unable to stay away for too long. Hates himself more for not being able to heal this for you. Has at least three separate inhalers on him at all times for you, don't ask where he got them from it doesn't matter.
Dorn is surprisingly good at dealing with this on the surface. Let's you lean on him at anytime to catch your breath, has inhalers for you as well, custom set for the different types of coughing fits you have. Will simply pick you up to carry you if you're having to much trouble breathing and waking with him, and will set side at least two separate serfs specifically for you of your choosing to assist when he is not able to be there. Both are trained in the medical field before being fully assigned to you. Under the surface though he is a bit of a mess. You've melted his defenses around his heart and still you suffer from something beyond his control. He feels as though he is failing you.
Konrad... Is also a mess. Visions of the future haunt him even on good days, and he has seen both you living a long life besides him, but also becoming more sickly and fading to the illness. It shifts and it makes him spiral every time it does. Also has inhalers of all sorts, where he has gotten them from is dubious at best. Offers to get you better lungs from someone undeserving. May get them for you as a gift anyway. Protective to a smothering point especially around his legion. Only he and Jago are allowed alone with you, knows your breathing is a weakness some of his stupider gene sons would take advantage of. He'd kill them all for a minute more with you, he's slaughter anyone or anything to fix you. Becomes obsessed with reading up on healthcare practices from any age.

Health update :
My rollator broke Halloween night (got the wheel stuck, fell over it and the wheel completely broke) so I haven't been able to use it. Anyway replacement wheels came and I put them on with the help of a housemate and I've been able to walk around which is so freeing. With my electric wheelchair I am able to go long distances and actually get around on days I can barely move but my rollator is my main mobility aid.
I've also had my first gp appointment since changing GPs and it went really well. I wasn't gaslit, I was listened to, I was communicated with really clearly and empathetically.
So I now have a referral to radiology and cardiology. After that other things will happen
Something that I didn't realise before: when I push my tongue forward as much as possible I can breathe like 50% easier. Was that the reason why so often I'm feeling like something slightly blocks my throat and makes the breathing difficult?
There’s something entirely evil about loving being outside and walking around beautiful little towns and being disabled. I’m on vacation, somewhere I went to as a kid, and I’ve only walked one block and I feel like I could collapse. The heat isn’t helping of course but fuck I just wanna enjoy this little island for more than half an hour
