Week 3 is over! And we got a limerick!
Here are all the acrostic poems we got: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4.
And here’s our two haikus from week 1: 1 | 2.
And here’s a post that has all three!
Thank you, @stormofsharpthings @soufflegirl91 @spiritofcamelot @gloomymegu for your lovely poems!
This week we’d like to ask to you to write a bredlik.
Yes, this is very much a first for the cafe! So if you aren’t entirely sure how to make a bredlik happen, or what it is, allow @christinefromsherwood to demonstrate:
my naim is Bond and wen its nite, or wen my car has takn flite and ol the goons stop being fun- i stand on bridge i yeet the gun.
So what makes a bredlik? A) weird, not really Chauceresque spelling B) 4 beats for every line C) ABCB DEFE rhyme scheme (= the 2nd and 4th lines rhyme, and the 6th and 8th lines do) D) the final line as a sort of a punchline for the whole thing
If you want to find out more about bredliks, this will tell you more and show you the original bredlik where actual bred is being likked.
If you want to read more bredliks for inspiration, may we direct your attention to this excellent blog: @bestbredlik
NOW GO FORTH AND WRITE YOUR BOND BREDLIKS!
The important thing is to have fun. :) (Rhymezone can help with the rhymes.)
Write your bredliks! Tag them #mi6cafechallenge and just to make sure mention @mi6-cafe!
We shall find them and reblog them!
Gunmar doesn't deserve a breadlik really but may he still get one?
