Khofar (as seen in The Acolyte 1x04 | Day) | Brendok
Indara says that they don’t even know if a vergence created life on brendok so now I’m really curious if Mother Aniseya had the power to proliferate wildlife on that whole planet.
From the earliest cell to a rapid evolution of wildlife like the butterfly. To the bunta tree and the organisms they hunt.
Now that would be reaaaally fascinating. Garden of Eden vibes.
That episode...I must laugh to keep from crying.
The Acolyte spoilers
jedi are colonizers
if they secretly have indian boarding schools for “difficult” force sensitives they deem dark and unnatural where they do their hardest to try beat the sense of self out of them & “turn them into” something they’re not, like how colonizers tried to “turn natives white” through racist pseudoscience that tried breaking indigeneity down to arbitrary quantifiers or cosmetic traits as well as systemic erasure & mass discrediting of indigeneity existing so the invaded natives stay erased & discredited instead of finally beating their invaders… i would not be one bit surprised. they give that vibe.

The power of one, the power of two, the power of many ✨ The many mothers of the secret coven feel like the most loving family in a galaxy far, far away. I wish we got to see more of them 💛
I’m continuing The Acolyte art nouveau series, let me know what’s your favorite so far and whose portrait you’d like to see next ✨

For Sol and this specific team of Jedi on Brendok, we have to remember they have little experience with actual darkness. We’re in a period of time where the Sith have been supposedly wiped out. The Nihil threat from the High Republic novels are already well behind them, and even the more prevalent “Force Sects” have seemingly dwindled in number and influence. This begs the question: are they feeling a “darkness” or something “strange?” In an organization so insular in their beliefs and trained since an early age, any other usage of the Force would be seen as strange, even unsettling. Their lack of experience with other Force cultures outside their own [makes] the jump from “strange” to “evil/bad”...all too easy.
