Brent Thomas and Anna Lewis
Anna is a sweet, shy girl, whose reserved and meek disposition leads her to be easily missed, and seem smaller than she is. Despite this, she becomes best friends with surly class nightmare, Brent Thomas, who everyone is convinced will one day shoot up the school. He helps bring her out of her shell, and she helps him by having his back, speaking up for him, and vouching for his character to skeptical teachers and guidance counselors. For once, her timid, earnest innocence works in her favor, as it's hard to believe she'd lie, or spend time around anyone terrible.
The two initially bonded after being assigned to the English final, and had to work together outside of school extensively. Unwilling to let Brent come over to her house due to her unstable home life, Anna insisted with uncharacteristic firmness that they work at Brent's - which revealed his situation to be much the same. After this, Anna took to fiercely sticking by and protecting Brent. All in all, it's very wholesome, barring the fact that Brent will sometimes thrash the people who physically threaten or pick on Anna, landing him in out of school suspension on a couple of occasions.

All I could think today while we were filming this video was how much you would love to be here to see this airplane up close. It’s one of two remaining B-29 bombers that still function. Gorgeous plane. After everyone left, the guy at the museum let me and Derek crawl around inside it. Super cool, built in 1944, but I wouldn’t want to be inside when it’s in the air.

Today was a long day. I had two interviews for the podcast -- Chris Bohm and Brent Thomas -- and we shot another scene for a Summit video, finally wrapping at nearly 7pm. I'm ready to be home.
