Even though David Lynch has saddly passed away, I feel like he made it out of this world alive. He's still very much bright.
"Bright days ahead" doesn't mean more drugs, more booze, more money, more b*tches, more earthly glory, more fame, more affirmation for one's sins.
For a Christian who knows the scripture is truth, and truth is within the scripture, and that Jesus said "Love Thy Neighbor" as well as "Sin No More", brighter days means peace;
no more drugs,
no more drunken fugues,
no more excessive wealth or debts,
no more whoremongering,
no more want or need for vanity,
no more want or need for fame,
and a complete and honest dislike of sin - which means recognizing that just because something is fun, and laughter is shared, doesn't mean it's holy.
When you look into my eyes, I see a brighter future. A future where love and laughter fill the hallways of our home and our hearts for years to come.
“ It’s in the eyes, always the eyes.”
