Crow & Night fam (plus Ashfoot 🕊️)

Names:

- Breezeheart: I just thought it sounded nice. Plus I think -heart fits him, especially after his uhhh "redemption" arc in Crowfeather's SE. I'd say his name was originally Breezepelt, but after the DF battle Onestar changed it to Breezeheart to give Breezy a new start or something.

- Heathergaze: Heathertail is not only a boring name, it would make more sense for her to be named after her eyes I think, since they're a blue-ish heather (though I made them more lavender in my design idk if that's how you're supposed to draw them or not).

- Bristlewing: I thought it sounded nicer. She is technically molted canonically, so Brindle makes sense, but I like Bristle as a prefix so.

- Applebranch: Twigbranch cannot be the only cat with -branch as a suffix (don't point it out if I'm wrong about this). Although -shine is a pretty suffix, I thought -branch should get some love. Plus the name actually makes sense unlike Twigbranch. At first I was going to do Sandshine, but tbh I didn't really like that name. Applestem I think could work too though :3

- Flutterwind: Flutterfoot is a very funny name to me, so I wanted to keep it. But Flutterwind came to me & I like that name more. I can imagine they're given this name bc they're like a feather fluttering in the wind, lightweight and pretty chill and calming to be around. Look at me, giving complete background characters personalities!

Headcanons: (since I didn't really change the designs from canon too much)

- Ashfoot lied about the father of her kits! She said it was Deadfoot because she didn't want to admit to having kits with a loner. Kind of like a Mapleshade situation, besides the fact Deadfoot kind of adopts Crowfeather as his son, in Starclan obviously, just to protect Ashfoot & such. The reason this lie was believed so easily is bc Crowfeather looks almost exactly like Deadfoot, lol.

- Crowfeather is non-binary in this. It doesn't change much of anything besides him feeling even more isolated from his clanmates. (He/They pronouns, but he mostly uses he :p)

- Nightcloud put a pair of leaves behind her ear to remember Leafpool (in this Au type thing they would've been friends after Nightcloud realized she couldn't hate Leafpool anymore. So she thought she'd make it up to Leafpool by being her friend.)

- This doesn't change much at all, but I wanted Flutterwind to be a she-cat. This totally isn't because I thought she was a she-cat pft...noooo. Anyway, her and Applebranch are in a very loving relationship! They took in two kittens that were given to Windclan by a passing Kittypet. Peace and love ✌️

- Woodsong loves singing! Sometimes she even finds reeds and blows through them to create some tunes ❤️

The Fernsong, Hollytuft and Sorrelstripe fic

The whole of the Haneossia AU was engineered for this specific one, tbh. They are my nothing character blorbos and I have spun quite the yarn about the three of them. The basic conscept is to write an interquel between the end of OotS and AVoS during which we can see the the three of them's coming of age story. Nothing too dramatic in the sense of huge stakes, but still a tense time as it is the reconstruction period of the Clans right after the calamities of the DF battle, the storm and WindClan's stoat infestation.

In particular I have for each of the siblings a certain thematic throughline:

Fernsong and trying to force himselt to fit the mold of his father, despite it not really being what he wants for him.

Hollytuft and her boiling anger at how she is only ever perceived in comparison to her dead aunt.

Sorrelstripe and her budding friendship with her cousins across the border, and how she feels about the complicated family history.

Overall, I just want them to have an interesting plot and to really take advantage of the underdeveloped themes of family and legacy of the canon series!
