After watching his mother be murdered right in front of him, Pheem is sent away as a child and basically abandoned by his so called family. Years later, he returns seeking revenge with a plan to take over the family business and the power that comes with it. But he isn't the only one playing a wicked game, and someone is trying to kill him. Luckily he meets Than, a former police officer looking for justice. They seem like the perfect allies, and Than agrees to be Pheem's bodyguard. But only time will tell if they are actually on the same team.
Was it a soap opera? Yep. And we enjoyed it! We initially thought we might be getting chess, but it turned out just to be checkers. Still, we found it entertaining and had a good time. Keep the bar low and enjoy the popcorn.
Ending: Happy for the main couple
Tears: Theoretically should have been higher, and there were moments that got us, but we were mostly immune.
