* Recipe Alert* STEAK AND POTATO PIE My #britishpieweek baking binge continues with a classic steak, potato and ale pie (I use the awesome @brewdogofficial non-alcoholic ale). The hint of mustard in the pastry adds a depth of flavour, balancing its buttery richness. The filling is the big deal though - tender, juicy pieces of steak in a rich gravy with bit of potato in every bite. Pure comfort! I served mine with gorgeous roasted purple-sprouting broccoli and hazelnuts and pink fir potato chips. I love a good dash of Worcestershire sauce with my meat pies too.
